Bistro Set (djbids, Cayucos Beach, CA, 2008-01-27)

We wanted a tall bistro set for our balcony at the beach and could not find an affordable one. This one seemed perfect in height and style. It was shipped timely and we put it all together. You need a little patience in the assembly process. One attachment was welded crooked but we were able to adjust it and make it work. It is a fantastic set., just what we wanted. It is perfect for us to eat breakfast on our deck or have cocktails and see over the railing while watching the sunset. I bought chair pads for the summer but it is comfortable without them. The table is sturdy and has twist adjusters on the bottom so there is no rocking. Chairs are just as nice. Remember when putting it together don't tighten everything super tight as you go, just when you are done putting it together. This allows some room for mistakes and saves time in putting it together. This was an awsome deal at an affordable price and a great addition to our home. Thank you Overstock.com!

Good Purchase (almcgow, Chaska, MN, 2008-06-10)

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this table, especially the bad ones. Here is what we experienced: negatives - one hole and screw would not line up on one chair, still structurally sound based on where it's located - a few little snags on metal, not great for nylon but you could use light sandpaper to smooth them out - not wrought iron but 'wrought iron' in appearance - SHOULD BE SPRAYED WITH CLEAR COAT OF SPRAY PAINT - GREAT IDEA FROM ANOTHER REVIEWER! I would do it once a year. positives - value for price - great! It should not be compared to a $2000 set, just not realistic! - sturdy (unless your a 500 lb man, but in that case you have to watch anything you sit on) - looks VERY nice! Hope this helps anyone "on the fence" about making this purchase. I'm happy I did.

I love this bistro set. (Raingirl, San Francisco, CA, 2008-03-24)

This is a wonderful bistro set perfect for patios with high railings and great views. I sit in it every evening after work and just take in my great view. I was looking for something just like this for months, but couldn't spend the fortune everyone wanted. Boy, was I thrilled when I saw it at Overstock reasonably priced. After reading the other reviews, I ordered it, received it very quickly, and put it all together in about 2 hours while watching TV. It's comfortable, too, with or without a chair pad. The curved seat is easy on the legs. I highly recommend it.

Good for the price (Lawchick2008, Mississippi, 2008-05-08)

This set is nice for the price, but it is not comprable to a nice welded, wrought iron set (which I have seen for $1000 elsewhere). The finish is not very consistent and our tabletop had a dent in it. But, it was the heigth we needed and the tabletop is plenty large to have a meal on, so we're keeping it. I feel like it is pretty sturdy, though I can't comment on the long-term durability yet. I would not buy this if I had the money to spend on a nicer set, but this was a good find for the price we paid.

Bistro set extremely disappointing. (Libbe, Annapolis,MD, 2008-02-29)

After months of searching for a bistro set for the patio, we made the significant mistake of ordering this set. One foot rest is without drilled holes. The table does not level on any surface, and after 1 week outside, the finish is oxidizing! It is an embarassing white elephant on our patio, and the thought of taking it apart, repackaging it, dealing with the telephone hassles is just doubly depressing. Save yourself all of this and shop for another set!
