Exactly what I expected and ordered (Hurleygirl, Smyrna Georgia, 2008-01-24)

I bought this seing kit so I would have one handy next to the sewing machine I bought on the same order. I am perplexed why anyone would think that the picture was deceiving and that it was too small! It is the perfect size for all of your sewing notions and although the thread included will not work on a sewing machine, it comes in handy and you can replace the spools included with onens that fit a sweing machine. Drawers are simple on mine to open. Would recommend to a friend or give as a gift.

I really like the amount of items you get with this set. One suggestion is maybe distributing the items evenly so the bottom drawer is easier to open. I had a little bit of a problem opening the bottom drawer, but once I was able to open it, I moved some of the items to the upper drawer and everything fits just fine. The thread looks a little thin, but I have not tried to sew anything with it yet. Overall, this is a very nice set with lots of fun items you need for sewing.

I purchased the sewing kit for the various colors of thread--not knowing what was included in each of the drawers! To my surprise, in the top drawer was: scissors, elastic, tape measure,thimble, snaps, etc. The second drawer included: a pin cushion, stickpins, needles,safety pins, buttons, various closures, etc. I should have ordered several more as gifts. This is an item that everyone can use. It's perfect for the person who has everything.

Gift for first time sewer (DenLF, Denver, Colorado, 2008-01-15)

I purchased this sewing kit for a friend's teenage daughter who received her first sewing machine for Christmas. It had everything she needed to get started on her new hobby. Even though the spools were small, the choice of colors were great and plenty to try her hand at sewing. I look forward to seeing her first completed t-shirt bag!

Wooden sewing chest (MOOLAW, CONYERS, GA, 2008-01-16)

I gave this to my Mom for Christmas so she can keep all her sewing items in a convenient place. She is very happy with it and as an extra it had lots of stuff inside. The chest is a great size and it looks good. You can even decorate it to your liking. I liked it so much I bought one for myself as well. The price was great as usual!
