Love it! (rhoward, Wetumpka, AL, 2008-06-16)

Overall I'm very happy with the rice cooker. The only problem that I find with it is that the design (attached lide) sometimes makes for difficult clean up in the ridges around the main pan and at the two points where the lid joins to the body of the cooker. It isn't a big sticking point for me though. Love that the bowl is non-stick, love that it comes with a recipe book that lets you cook all sorts of things in it. Love the rice pudding recipe! It's a nice looking rice cooker. Allthough refurbished, mine showed no signs as being such. My only word of warning is to keep an eye on your things after the cooking cycle is complete, since they'll continue to slowly cook on the warm setting, until the cooker is unplugged.

Rice cooker (Dionee, New Olreans, 2008-01-30)

I purchased this because of the cost! I really never used a rice cooker before and it does make good rice, however the rice MUST BE WASHED before cooking. I made a pot of rice and used the exact instructions.....came out great. The next time I used regular rice, not washed......what a mess! The water/starch from the rice came out of the steam vent and all over the counter! I guess I need to follow the directions and wash the rice prior to cooking.......It really is a cute and easy to use appliance. I also like it because it is small and stainless steel. It is a little difficult to clean the lid gasket.

I had just returned from a family vacation where we rented a huge house at the beach in NC. My nephew's wife brought her rice cooker. We enjoyed rice almost everyday, so when I got back home I checked Overstock for a rice cooker. I chose this one because I didn't want to spend much more than $25. It's only been about a month since I received it and already I feel I've gotten my monies worth. It's just terrific. The rice is perfect every time. We truly enjoy this product and would recommend it to anyone.

The delivery was quick. The cooker's presentation is excellent with its fancy stainless steel look. It came in its original box in a mint condition. I can cook a meal for the whole day in no time; rice, vegetables, meat, or whatever you want, all at the same time. It is very handy and easy to wash. I am very happy with it, and it is worth the price. I have been using it ever since I received it, which is approxim,ately 2 weeks, and I have not have any problems yet.

I love this rice cooker and Overstock :) It came well-packaged. There's definitely no sign of refurbish. It is compact, flawless, doesn't take so much of counter space and match perfectly with my stainless appliances. I tried different kind of rice: sushi, sweet rice, long grain, brown rice etc. and so far so good. The rice turned out really moist and does not stick to the pot. It cooks really fast (about 10 minutes) and is very easy to clean too.
