Product Description

This motion detector alarm is wireless and battery operated, making it extremely easy to install
Simply mount this security device on a wall, or place it on a shelf or table top, program the code, and you have instant security for your room
There are two modes: alarm and chime
When the motion detector is in alarm mode, its unique passive infrared system concentrates on the protected area you select
The motion detector studies the area and responds only when a person moves into the protected area, and then turns on the alarm (105 dB) and/or light
In the entry chime mode, the chime will sound each time motion is detected
Other features include horizontal or vertical mounting (with the motion detector's swivel head), unique user security codes, two tone entry chimes and warning decals for added deterrence

Motion Detector (Rainer1019, Los Angeles, CA, 2008-08-14)

For the money and ease of operating the detector I thought it was a great item. I even went ahead and order a second one. Unfortunately, after several weeks the motion detector would just go off without a reason after it was set. I've tried taking out the battery and reprogramming it but to no avail ..... do not know if the item could just be defective or something is wrong. I read prior reviews before purchasing it and other people were happy with it. Have not used the second one to see if there is a difference.

This little unit really whales! I tested it out on the poor unsuspecting maintenance man in our utility room at work. Scarred the living daylights out of him -- really ear piercing loud! The only problem is the motion detector is completely attatched right to the key pad-- all one unit. Would make a great little alarm unit to take with you when you travel . Or just put in a spot where you want to know if someone is entering as it does have a chime function.

alarm goes off 1 to 2 min. after setting about 30 persent of the time., they seem to use alot of new batterys , I have tried to find a adaptor they recommend and have had no luck ,and no luck contacting the co. about that .,I hope to find a answer soon they would be great for me if they worked all the time.

Wireless alarm (3655, AZ, 2008-02-22)

These are very simple to use and operate and really work to deter people. while they may not be fancy, they don't need to be. When it goes off, it's very loud and sures scares the daylights out of who ever attempts to get through!
