Rest in luxurious comfort with this inviting pillow top featherbed.

Filled with small-grade white goose feathers and down, it's covered in quality, 233-thread count, 100-percent cotton; the featherbed is hypoallergenic. A 5-inch thick sidewall, two piped seams, and 5-inch baffled box construction enhance its durability. The base gives you the firmness and gentle support of blended down and feathers, while the separate, sewn-on pillowtop offers the inviting loft and softness of pure white goose down.

Twin, 39 x 75 in., 8 lbs. white goose feather/down fill in bed, 10 oz. white goose down in pillow top.
Full, 54 x 76 in., 12 lbs. white goose feather/down fill in bed, 13 oz. white goose down in pillow top.
Queen, 60 x 80 in., 14 lbs. white goose feather/down fill in bed, 16 oz. white goose down in pillow top.

Note that the fill consists of 95-percent white goose feathers and 5-percent white goose down, while the pillowtop is 100-percent white goose down.
Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.

After a few weeks on the feather bed (mickie39, Red Lion, Pennsylvania, 2008-01-19)

I started using my featherbed on December 26th. It did appear to be five inches after fluffing it and letting it lay out in the spare room for a day. I put the cover on it and put it on top of an old mattress that I have which I was having trouble sleeping on. It is definitely more comfortable than the mattress I was sleeping on and you get very warm once you have been in bed for about an hour. I have no need to use the mattress pad heater anymore! My only complaint is it does not maintain the five inch loft even after fluffing. I don't know if this is due to it being inside a cover or not. It also is not like sleeping on a cloud as I expected, although it is comfortable, and I don't wake-up in pain like in the past. I thought I would get more of a "sinking in" feeling. For the price, I thought it was a good deal and there are no feathers poking me, yeah! I did not want to compress it too much so after reading some of the other reviews and the fact you have to shake it to fluff it, I put it inside its cover and then I wrapped another flat sheet around it and sleep on top of that. The bonus is my dogs love it!

Side Sleeper (debran123, Orlando, Florida, 2008-07-28)

I am a first time featherbed user! I bought this because I own a temperpedic bed that is supposed to be so great but I find it hot and too hard to sleep on my shoulder. I wake in the middle of the night with extreme shoulder pain. With the featherbed I am sleeping much, much better. I have even gone a few nights without waking up at all!! And no shoulder pain! The only downside is the plumping up you have to do about every other night, but the sleep is well worth it. I haven't bought a cover yet as I am thinking I want a better thread count than the 230 offered. I have been putting my queen sheet over it and it is working fine. I am sensitve to smells but was very pleased after letting it air out for a day that there was very little and now don't notice any. I read in someon's review about feathers coming out but even with all my shaking I haven't seen a one. I think the quality is such that it won't be a problem for many years, if ever. It looks to be long lasting quality. I would rebuy it.

Junk Item, will fall apart in 6 months, don't buy! (TinyEyes, Powell, Ohio, 2008-04-30)

I bought this item in Sept. 07, and when it came it smelled funny (like a barn yard) so I aired it out and after a few minutes it smelled fine. I put a featherbed cover over it as well to encase it. It was so comfy and we loved it - but just for about 3 months. The feathers started to poke through both the featherbed and the cover! Every day I was picking up feathers in our bedroom. It got worse and worse until yesterday there were hundreds of feathers poking through. Finally, I had to take it outside onto the front yard yesterday and then had to just throw it away. There were feathers all over my house, on the stairs, in the yards, etc. What a waste of money! I can't believe how many feathers found their way through. I strongly recommended that you don't buy this defective item..... The reviews seemed fine, but I noticed that none of them were written after the consumer had the product for a while. I would have written a great review during the first month of use! How disappointing :(

Great night sleep (littlemissdangerous, Muscoda, Wisconsin, 2008-04-27)

I purchased this white goose down featherbed this month. I was not sure if a featherbed would help or hinder my sleep. I was worried that it would bunch up at night when I toss and turn. It does not buch up or stick me with feathers. Now I do not toss or turn at night to make the pains go away. It has been ten years since I slept through the night. I could not be happier that I purchased the white goose down featherbed. If you are a person that has a body that is always in pain. It would be a wise to purchase one. Do not hold back, get one for yourself. You will be completely happy as I am.

Saved my back, and the cost of new mattress (kittykatkay, Godley, TX, 2008-03-09)

My husband and I both have been waking up with horrible back aches for the last year. I bought this feather bed after much consideration and price comparision. Let me tell you, NO MORE BACKACHE!!!. This is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in now and its all due to the feather bed. The price can't be beat either. It had a low odor for a few days, but now enough to notice . I do have to fluff it everyday, but the payoff is well worth it. I highly recommend this product and won't hesitate to shop here again. I have had it for about a month now and still love it.
