This intelligent comedy airing on the Showtime Channel stars Mary Louise Parker (ANGELS IN AMERICA) as Nancy Botwin, a recently widowed mother of two who finds herself in difficult financial straits. surprising series (LizRK1, New Jersey, 2008-01-12)
 
I had heard about this series--featuring a great cast and following the rather extreme actions of a recent widow as she attempts to maintain her previous lifestyle and raise her children. It is very entertaining, and buying the series through Overstock was better than watching it over a long time period on an exclusive cable station. I buy most of my movies through Overstock--they arrive quickly, are competitively priced, and the range of offerings is great. This one is great!

This show has everything anyone would want...it's funny, dramaitc, smart, entertaining and at times, very educational (wink wink). Buy it. Buy from overstock or pay twice if not more than their price.
