| Great for Toddler's New Bed
(RedCurled, San Francisco Bay Area, 2008-05-23) |

| I bought two of these mattress pads for my son's new bed based on the reviews I read at Overstock. I probably could have found some for about the same price at a store around my house, but Overstock gives me reviews, more than one choice, and availability--saving me time and headaches.
The pads are sewn well and have elastic around the complete perimeter. I've washed both of them and they came out well (I followed the recommended washing instructions). There is no fluff to these pads--they are strictly to protect the mattress without being a plastic mattress cover. Speaking of which, there's no crinkle factor, so whoever sleeps on them can rest easy. |

| Not for my mattress
(Taichigirl, Erie,PA, 2008-08-28) |

| I had purchased the mattress pad for a new Tempurpedic Mattress (which is only 9 inches thick )because it was described to fit mattresses up to 12 inches thick. It fit initially --until someone slept on it, then it slipped off the corners and crept into the center of the mattress. This happens every night so I have to fix it every morning. The stretchy material that fits over the edges of the mattress is too thin to attach those stretchy bands you can buy to keep the pad in place. Would not have bought if I had realized that this would happen. |

| works well

| This is my second purchases of this product. I bought one for my now 5 year old, 3 years ago, when she moved in to a "big girl" bed and it has held up very well. So, I just purchased another for my 2 year old who is now out of the crib. This product works well and I highly reccommend it, bit it is tricky to get on the bed. It is difficult to tell which corner to start with and tends to slip off when you pull it over another bed corner. It takes some getting used to but is well worth the struggle because it really protects the mattress. |

| Not happy

| I would have sent this item back if I had not already thrown the packing slip away. It is a pain to put on the bed. It takes multiple people to accomplish the simple task of putting it on the bed. The corners do not stay in place when trying to put opposite corners on. You need someone to hold each corner in place while you finish putting the other corners on. Once on, it stays in place most of the time. Making the bed should not take 3 people. |

| No good for pillowtop
(Overaddicted, NY, NY, 2008-06-23) |
| |
| I bought this in full size for my son's pillowtop mattress and it doesn't fit well. It's not deep enough and the bottom edges keep crawling out of the mattress. The material isn't nearly as good as the other mattress covers I've bought on Overstock. If you've got a reg. mattress and are on a budget, I guess you can't go wrong for the money, but if you want a higher quality item, shop around. |
