Vtech ia5862 5.8GHz 3 Cordless Phone System (jonredkorn89, Fort Valley, GA, 2008-04-21)

The phones are very nice. They are inexpensive, very easy to use as well as to program, and the best feature of all is that all three phones only require the use of one phone jack! Perfect for renters, or for anyone that does not want to install multiple phone jacks. I would definately reccomend the Vtech ia5862 5.8GHz 3 Cordless Phone System to anyone who is in need of an inexpensive, cordless, multi-handset system.

Refurbished Phones (brndymtchll, Louisiana, 2008-04-28)

I purchased refurbished phones thinking that they would be okay. They have lots of static in them. I thought that maybe it was the phone line but we had the phone company come out and check it but there wasn't a problem with the phone line. So I has to be the phones. I didn't have this problem before these phones. I'm thinking about returning them.

Overall the phone is great. however two people can not be on the line at the same time. If you have someone that everyone in the house wants to talk to, you have to transfer them to another handset or, hand off the one your using.
