Don't try to save with this phone (lori141, Latham, NY, 2008-04-14)

OK - so we went cheap and bought this phone at a great price with answering machine. From our end its great - answering machine works fabulous and you can hear people very clear - doesn't interfere with our wireless network either. BUT I feel really bad for people that call us - they hear so much static and even a little humming - I never realized it until I called home one day. Oh well, our fault for going so cheap - and I am too lazy to return it after we have it all set up and connected to the wall. If I had to do it all over again, I would spend more money and buy something better.

Good volume (atleta, VA, 2008-03-10)

Given my previous experience with a VTech phone over which it was nearly impossible to hear, I was somewhat concerned about volume. However, this phone is plenty loud and works well with a headset.
