phone is decent but nothing special (sensorguy, Los Angeles, CA, 2008-09-07)

Overall quality on this phone leaves a lot to be desired. Volume is set so high on the phones that I keep it on low and even that is too loud. Audio quality of handheld diminishes quickly when walking away from the base unit. Even from 20 feet away the poorer quality is noticable. Speed dial numbers are unique for handset and base unit, which means twice the programming is required to set all the numbers. Menu's that are in the firmware of the phone don't navigate well and are not intuitive. Base unit has one ring style which is relatively annoying and cannot be changed other than volume, while the remote handset has two ring settings providing at least some choice. End result is a product that, other than being cheap, is not worth the purchase.

Good value (CulpandCosFan, Pittsburgh, PA, 2009-04-19)

We have been using the phone and handset for two weeks now, and it works very well. Audio is clear; the handset sound quality is quite good [it's on the same floor as the base]. All of the functions work well [voice mail, caller ID, etc.]. The many functions take some time getting used to, so make sure you read the included manual. For the time being, I keep it right next to the phone. So far, this phone is a great value. I couldn't find a comparable phone in any store for less than $60.

I like this phone because it only requires one phone jack. You can put the second phone in a second room that doesn't have a jack. The only thing that I can find wrong out of the many things I like is the audio quality on the speaker phone (only the main unit has speaker phone). You have to be so close to the phone for the person on the other end to understand you that you may as well just pick up the handset. Other than that everything has worked really well.

I'm always impressed on how fast Overstock.com ships their products. This was the same situation and when I recieved the telephone I was very impressed the look of the phone and how easy it was to install and set up. I have the main phone set in our living room and the cordless in our bedroom, they both blend well with the decor of both rooms. I would highly recommend this product.

Love all the features it has, especially caller ID- relatively easy to use and program (for someone who really stinks at all that stuff!)- love the two receivers- one that is wired to the base and the other is wireless, very convenient. Overall this is an excellent product and I'm extremely pleased with it.
