Don't waste your money... (MsCaraBean, Baltimore, MD, 2008-01-12)

This scale is a piece of garbage! It is completely inconsistent and inaccurate. I'd check my weight and then check it again 5 minutes later and the scale would give me two totally different numbers. (I really doubt anyone can lose or gain 10 lbs in 5 minutes.) Also, you have to violently shake the thing to get it to reset, and even that doesn't work half the time.

I purchased this scale more for appearance than functionality and am happy with it in that respect. However, for everyday use, I'd prefer the old fashioned kind that's sturdy and doesn't depend on batteries. This one will flip over if you don't place your foot on it correctly, and it doesn't always register weight immediately.

I was not all that sure about buying a glass scale but I tried it and was I glad I did. It is much cleaner looking than all the others and it doesn't take away from your decor. It is very simple to use all you do is tap one corner to activate it . Wait for the numbers to appear and step on. I also love that it is digital.

I was very disappointed in this scale. I bought it for my mother for her birthday and it did not work. We even changed the battery and it still did not work. I supose it's possible I received a "lemon" However, I am currently waiting for my refund.

The scale is not only functionable but attractive and easy to use. We would recomend this scale to others and we would purchase another one in the future if needed. I would also purchase as a gift.
