Charlie Sheen takes a starring role in TWO AND A HALF MEN, a genial CBS comedy about a dysfunctional family. Sheen plays Charlie Harper, who enjoys the bachelor life in his Malibu beach house. His existence consists of an endless stream of partying and dating until his brother, Alan (Jon Cryer), moves in with him. Alan`s life has fallen apart after a separation from his wife, but he still has custody of his 10-year-old son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), who also moves into Charlie`s Malibu home. Supporting characters include Alan`s ex-wife, and Charlie and Alan`s overbearing mother. What a Hoot! (usramikado, Ohio, 2008-02-01)

I missed this series when it was first introduced. But was later exposed to it through syndication. This seies is a genuine HOOT! All of the cast are very good and its fun to see just what situations Charlie and Allen will get into next. Superb writing and a talented cast make this worth watching over and over. A big thumbs up!!

Christmas gift (JHartsuiker, Colorado, 2008-01-04)

This was a Christmas for for my husband. He enjoys the show and had requested this DVD. I do not feel it is appropriate for all ages due to the language. But for adults, it is very entertaining!
