Excellent Travel Bag -- and Great Value (Audaz, Brooklyn, NY, 2008-06-25)

In the last month or so, I've travelled with this bag to Chicago, Madrid and Los Angeles -- each trip lasting 4 to 5 days. On the transatlantic flight I did not even check in the bag, it fit just fine in the overhead compartment! [That was in business class, so I'm not sure this applies to coach class compartments.] My clothes were not exactly without their creases, but I think that goes with the territory when packing the bag to capacity as I did (so it could be that on a 2 day trip one's clothing will not need to be pressed upon arrival). I really like this bag because it fits so much and is still relatively small and lightweight and rolls quite smoothly on its wheels. And with tthis bag as long as you pack regular travel items like clothing and shoes and toiletteries, the 50-lb limit on checked-in baggage should never be a problem. It seems pretty durable and has several neat pockets inside and out that come in very handy. All around great deal!

Great bag/poor structure (JJBJJ, Boston, MA, 2008-06-13)

Anything I buy from overstock I am usually very pleased with. When I saw this bag, I thought, "this is going to be great". It looked like it was in great shape and everything. I do not think this is overstock's fault, but the bag itself it kind of manufactured cheaply, in terms of how things are screwed in together- I do not think it will last long. The handle that you carry it with already broke on my first trip because it got stuck. I could not push it down and therefore by my forcing it down, it broke. Also, the bad does not stand upright- it kept falling down on its side. I didnt even have that many clothes in it. Well anyway, overall, it's a nice bag that holds a fair amount of clothing and shoes, but it's designed arkwardly and again that is more on the manufacturer's part. I still love overstock!!!

Decent design; poor durability (FrequentAirTraveler, Portage, MI, 2008-01-20)

I will not order another Traveler's Choice luggage product in the future. Within the first month, one of the stationary supports on the bottom of the bag broke off in transit. Since then, the bag has no longer been able to stand on its own. Also within the first month, the main zipper has not sealed well in two different spots. I finally broke down and purchased a decorative and functional strap to put around the bag, both to ensure it stays closed as well as to make it easier to identify in baggage claim. The bag does indeed keep my clothes clean and unwrinkled, and I do like the pocket designs, both inside as well as outside. The durability though is not nearly what I was expecting and I **DO NOT** recommend it for weekly travelers!!

We purchased two bags. The zipper pulled away from the seam on the bag my husband was using the first time he tried to use it. My bag was fine. I packed a weeks worth of clothng in it. For the price it is fine. On the bag my husband used that had the zipper stitching progblem at the seam we mended. We are sailors and we used thread we use to repair sails and re-sewed it and it held up to a weeks worth of travel. It is still holding up. We tossed the boxes they came in, so we didn't send it back. I suggest if you purchase these, check the stitching well, do not over pack it and keep the boxes in case you want to return. Otherwise it is a great value.

We purchased the rolling garment bag along with the 4 piece set to take on our honeymoon. We really liked the set when we got it and thought it was a great value. The garment bag came in very handy for us to take suits and dresses with us. However, 2 of the pullmans from the set ripped at the handles. The smallest one had the top handle completely ripped off and the largest one is starting to rip. So I'm not sure how durable the luggage is. I've bought inexpensive luggage before that has survived many trips and a bad car accident so I had high hopes for this set. I have to see about getting these exchanged. So we'll see!
