Perfect travel gift! (jabot, IA, 2008-01-10)

The positives -- it's sooo small and yet delivers amazing sound. Of course, you can't crank up the base , but we (my late teen and early twenty children) couldn't believe the sound. It runs on batteries or you can use your iPod adapter to use an electrical outlet. The college daughter wished she'd had it during her study abroad. It is itty-bitty! The negatives -- it came with no directions, so it took a few minutes to figure out how to set it up. We managed though. It is pretty slick!! We're definitely ordering more for all the travelers in our family. We figure given the price, you can take it everywhere and if it somehow "disappears" from a hotel or dorm room -- oh well, it 's not that expensive!

I am not too happy with the product. The ipod charger does not work with my ipod nano unfortunately. The two headphones it came with do not come with ear cushions, so the headphones hurt while wearing it. I think the best thing is the adapter so 2 people can hear the ipod at the same time using different headphones. The little sock for the ipod is cool. I have not tried the portable sneakers but I have seen them before they are ok. And the little cloth is comes with is sort of useful. After using it I would not recommend somebody buy this item. The things i like the most you can get cheaper for the price.

Great Portable Speakers (Bobbiejo, Reedley, CA, 2008-01-19)

This set of portable speakers is great because it collapses into a nice square for easy traveling! They can be used with an IPOD as well as with an MP3 Player and a digital voice recorder. I have not used the wall unit yet or adapters, however this is a nice set since it comes with a sock sleeve for your IPOD and two extra earphones! You will enjoy this little portable speaker set!! The only draw back is the Audio is not perfect, but when you are traveling and want to share music with a small group of friends from your IPOD or MP3 this set of traveling speakers is great!

Travel IPod Gift Set (formerda, Washington, D.C., 2008-01-04)

the reason I purchased this is because it offered so many neat things in one for my teenager. Unfortunately one of the most important components (the charger) did not work. Obviously, an IPod needs to be charged. the only thing that saved me (since my son received the IPod for X-Mas and we were on a trip) was that I also had purchased an IPod clock radio that he could use to charge as well. The product is nicely packaged and would have been a nifty gift if all of the things worked. Too bad. Not sure if it is refurbished or not.

the speakers are great. the looked kind of cheap to me when i opened the box, but have been very happy with the sound and how compact they are. i also like the earbuds and splitter. the charger is of poor queality in my opinion, but i think the set is worth the money and all the little extras are great. comes in a nice box, i think it would make a great little gift for a new ipod owner. the speakers also work with my boyfriends mp3 player that is not an ipod.
