I will be honest with you, I am a bit of a jewelry snob. I have ordered a couple of pieces online from other places and I have returned every single one of them. Having said that, I was very anxious about seeing this ring with my own eyes. I currently have a Tiffany & Co. wedding set and was looking for another platinum setting for my Tiffany diamond. Tiffany settings are gorgeous and classy but their designs tend to be a bit boring. I have always admired the intricacy of Tacori designs and told my husband that eventually I would like to reset my diamond in a Tacori ring. This ring is classy but not plain like my current setting. The band is thin, which is great since I think the ring should be about the stone and not the thickness of the metal! And the design is amazing! This is truly a gorgeous setting for a fine solitaire. I recommend it 100%.
