This watch is powered by automatic movement which means the winding of the spring occurs automatically when the wearer moves his/her arm. However, it is recommended that you manually wind the watch at least once every two weeks. It is also important to adjust the time once a month as automatic movement can gain or lose a few minutes per month.

Nice watch (Hegemon, San Diego, CA, 2008-07-25)
 
This is the first watch I have owned over $300 and it's a nice piece of machinery. The construction and finish seem top notch and if feels like it is indestructible. Be prepared though - it is a very big watch. I have read other reviews stating that the band is not quality but this came with the heaviest and best looking SS band I have ever seen. The movement is really nice. Great watch IMO.
