I am not one of those people who order things on-line, and it has been years since I did. I quit because the merchandise was never as advertised. Since you could not recover the (usual) significant S/H, I did not feel it was worth paying to send the item back. I bought a small sofa at a thrift store for $5.00. It was in great shape, even the cover, but it had pink & blue flowers on it which I could not deal with. It is an odd size for a sofa, so I could not find a cover for it anywhere locally. I found a place that sold covers for "small sofas" , and the measurments were perfect, but I did not like any of the covers, and/or the shipping charge put it really over the top for me. When I saw this stretch cover with the lovely stripe, I really liked it, but the measurements were different. I called Customer Care with my measurements. They were very helpful and helped me decide that the loveseat size, though not exactly the same measurments, would fit because this cover was a stretch faric. I was also really pleased that your shipping is only $2.95 for any order. Well, it arrived in just a few days, and I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fabric! It did not fit perfectly, but since the fabric has a generous stretch, you cannot tell the measurements were slightly different. It looks lovely and is so soft and comfortable. I am very pleased.

Why I am disappointed! (DesertPrincess, Rancho Mirage, CA, 2008-08-01)

I buy from Overstock on a weekly basis and shipping was great. Product is not the color as shown but a wedgewood dark blue. They fit great look great! The first day that they were on the cats claws snagged the material as it is very very thin and not what I had expected. I will say that if you are going to buy slipcovers make sure that they are heavy duty material and animal proof. These are being shipped back and it is one of the few things that I have ever returned in my history of shopping with Overstock! If you do not have animals these will work fine just remember that they are very thin.

Slipcover (istacy, North Shore Boston, 2008-05-20)

This is a very beautiful slipcover which I know would have cost much more elsewhere. It looks very rich and the taupe is distinctive but neutral enough to go with everything. The loveseat I covered isn't large, and this slipcover would stretch to fit a much larger one. A negative though...when I opened the package there was a strong odor of perfume or air freshener covering the smell of cigarette smoke. Perhaps the slipcover had been returned by someone else. I was in such a hurry to see how it looked that I didn't wash it first, but I will need to wash it soon to get rid of the smells.

Sure fit stretch Slipcover---Loveseat (NJNana, Cape May Co., N.J., 2008-08-28)

At first-I didn't think it would cover the entire sofa. Follow the directions and take your time-fabric will stretch to fit well. I especially recommend getting the 2-piece cover ----the cushions will fit in--just follow directions. Clings well, looks very clean and neat.--- do not have to constantly smooth material or pull down--fabric nice and smooth. I have had Sure Fit covers through the years for different style sofas and have not had any problems with same.

pretty close to the picture (Andrealite, Boston, MA, 2008-07-15)

I like these covers. The color is lighter in the picture than in my home but I don't light my home with the kind of lights they used for the photo. I am not totally crazy about the muddy undertone in the color, but they are close enough. I would give them 5 stars if the color was better. The stretch is really good and they are soft. The stripes are actually recessed in the fabric which is velour-like. They stay in place better than the non-stretch slipcovers.
