Pleased with formerly archived furniture (Carla2, Redford, MI, 2008-01-15)

I have a love seat and wing chair in my basement that used to be in my living room, about a hundred years ago. At the time, I spent good money for them and absolutely loved them. Anyway, over time I replaced them and put them in the basement. I recently moved into a new home began redecorating and decided to buy slip covers. I looked all over the net and at some local stores and couldn't decide. I read many of the reviews on slip covers, which really didn't help much . I took a chance on SureFit mainly because of the price. I watched the videos on how to put them on and figured--why not. The fabric was exactly how I had imagined; nice and soft-suede-like. Not cheap-looking at all. I ordered the Sable, not knowing how the color would look, but I read one of the reviews that said it was very neutral. It was indeed. I would describe the color as a dark taupe. I ordered the pillows and they matched exactly. The covers fit both pieces of furniture nicely. I would suggest going over them with the warm iron first to make them look their best. As far as delivery, they only took a few days --3 tops! I will definitely order again from Overstock!

I thought this was a terrible purchase. it took me awhile to get everything smooth and tucked and then the problems began. As soon as you sit all the wrinkles show. I like things to look smooth and I thought the stretch fabric would allow that, but it didn't. Then there was so much static everytime you moved around. Also because of the color and the suede the color never seemed right. It made it look more messy that it really was or just cheap. I guess it's an ok slip cover for a college student or if you are covering something really awful but I was just looking for a change of color in my room and this was definitely not worth the money or time.

Overstock has done it again. I was amazed that i could change the entire look of a living room with slip covers. These are exceptional slip covers. The quality is excellent, and the material is as soft and luxurious as sand washed silk. The material is standing up to 2 little dogs that believe they own the sofa. Easy to wash and throw back on, no ironing required. If you are looking for slip covers that are beautiful, soft, and very sturdy this is the ticket. I'll buy them in the other colors to change the look of the room. (cheaper and easier than buying new furniture) Excellent price, Thanks again Overstock!

IT WAS so funny putting these on. I watched my girlfriend and her father get shocked about a hundred times. They look beautiful they dont fit perfectly but its good enough.. its been a couple of days and still wen i sit on them my hair stands straight up. The static is so bad and i am probaly going to stick them in the dryer on air with a million dryer sheets to try and get that to go away if not i dont think that i will be keeping them that long. They are beautiful though so its a shame that the static is so bad.

Great looking, easy to clean (jltr, New York, NY, 2008-03-31)

These covers look great. They slip and I usually end up fixing them about once a week, but that's after my dogs have been all over them. I would recommend the sofa grips to help keep them in place. I was also worried about having the suede brown color because of the doggy slobber, but if my dogs leave a mess after eating their treats, the fabric cleans up quickly with a wet cloth. I love how the color changed the whole feel of my living room, and the fabric is so soft and comfortable!
