I wish I'd gotten this long ago! (Onlineshoppingkeepsmesane, Minnesota, 2008-03-13)

As a daycare provider, I need to both stretch my dollar, and have furniture that can be easily cleaned. That doesn't mean, however, that I am willing to sacrifice style. So when I saw this sofa cover, I thought I would give it a shot. In the burgendy, I figured soiling wouldn't show very easily. On the sofa, the reality is even better. I have had kids do nasty things to my poor sofa cover, and all it takes it a wet washcloth, and it wipes right off. There was the time my daughter got some medicated ointment on it. I was a bit concerned about that one. No cotton sofa cover could come out of that mess unscathed. A dab of Dawn dishwashing liquid on the wet washcloth was all it needed. Don't expect that it is going to stay in place like some miracle cover. It will need adjusting, daily. Of course the fact that there are 6 kids flopping all over mine can't help matters here. It did really make my livingroom look classy. It was also far easier to put on than other sofa covers I have had in the past. I was concerned when I first got it that it might not be sturdy enough to handle the rough and tumble around here, since it was so refined, and not at all bulky like my previous sofa covers. It has proven itself to be able to handle the roughest of kids who like to give the sofa their best shot, despite the consequense of time out. This is a great way to update your sofa, or save your wallett when a child has marred your upholstrery. Why do you think I'm on sofa cover number three? At least now, I know where to find them at a reasonable price!

Sofa Slipcover (cardboardAZ, AZ, 2008-06-20)

I ordered the dark brown sofa slipcover, and I am pretty happy with my purchase. I've done other slipcovers before, and Surefit tends to be a good buy. The Overstock.com price was unbeatable and I received the slipcover promptly. As for how it works? I spent some time tucking and lining the darts along the T-cushions when it first arrived. I actually found that pulling the excess fabric forward on the seat cushions and then tucking them around the bottom of the seat cushions (which made my couch look more like couch and less like a couch in a dress!) worked a lot better than tucking into the back crease of the couch. While I do have to tuck stuff every now and then, all in all I am pleased with it.

Sofa Slipcover (Happybuyer43, Florida, 2008-03-12)

I love this slipcover. It looks good on the couch and was easy to put on. The only thing I don't like, and it has nothing to do with the quality of the cover, is that it always has to be tucked back in. I have 4 kids and they don't seem to understand standing up to get off the couch. They slide off and untuck the cover. It's not a big deal though. I did put a piece of PVC pipe down between the top and bottom of the couch to help keep it tucked in, but that doesn't help. I'd like to try one of the inserts you can buy to help keep it tucked. That might work better. But this is a really nice looking cover and an excellent price too! They are much more money when you buy from a store.

So soft (chaser2000, Sayre, PA, 2008-04-08)

My couch is a very akward size. I have tried many other slipcovers before and they were all a poor fit. I am very happy with this one. Of corse you will have to readjust it from time to time, but it is sooooo soft and looks nice when on. I did think the fabric was going to be thicker because it is suede, but it is not, which I liked. I have already washed it according to directions and it came out just as nice as it was when I recieved it. I have only had it for a short amount of time, so I can not report on long term durability. As of now though, I love it.

slipcovers (Puppaluv, New York, 2008-03-30)

This slipcover is way oversized I got it and immediately tried to put it on .That took a while. It still looked like a rumpled sheet but I figured it would do Then someone sat on it and it slid over the back and puddled on the floor . It is a 24 hour a day job repositioning it to keep it looking fair at best. The one good thing I will say is it looks pretty ,feels great and washes wonderfully ... Sadly I have given up and it is now in my yardsale box I bought it to protect new furniture but it proved more trouble then it is worth
