Sure Fit Cotton Classic Dining Chair Slipcovers (kgre99, Jacksonville, FL, 2008-07-12)

My husband recently established a 2nd home in Savannah, GA. I was loaned dining room chairs (6) and mahogany table. The problem was it had been in storage for 15 - maybe longer, years. The parson chairs were dirty, dusty and had stains on them. I knew it would be costly to have someone come in and clean the upholstery. As I usually do, I went to Overstock.com and found these wonderful slipcovers in the "linen" color. WOW! They really popped and fit to a T. I could not have asked for a better fit if they had been sent to an upholsterer w/ exact measurements. I recommend them on a scale of 1 to 10, a 15. I absolutely love the way they have added to the dining room and dark table. I almost wish I could go back and buy them in different colors...maybe I will. They say you can wash on gentle cycle BUY I would definitely send to dry cleaners so there would be no shrinkage. LOVE THEM!!!!!

Once I opened the package and pulled the cover out, I saw that the workmanship was shoddy and despite the appropriate measurements did not fit my dining chairs properly. What's more is that I cannot even be refunded upon return because I opened the package and took one out. Therefore it is considered used and Overstock's return ploicy will only offer me a percentage of what I paid for a product that falls grossly short of the image/description presented. Be sure that I will never purchase Sure-Fit products online or via catalog again.

a good cheap fix (egrodahl, southern ca, 2008-04-11)

I needed a quick and inexpensive cover up for my chairs. these fit well and looked fine. they do not seem like they can handle machine washing - i will send to cleaners. color is OK. material is sort of thin. perfect if you are just looking for a quick temp fix for a dining set.

For high square-back chairs (MPBR, Chicago, 2008-02-12)

These slipcovers look great, but only after heavy ironing and starch. Also made for high, square-back chairs. I have square-back, but not high. I had to take the backs in to make them look right on my chairs. Once they were altered and pressed though, they looked really nice.

I couldn't resist taking the chance to see how they fit with a price like that. They fit my high back chairs perfectly!! I had absolutely no probs with getting the wrinkles out once I washed them and dried them in the wrinkle-free cycle. I'm very happy with them!
