Pleasantly Surprised! (texastennischick, Cypress, Texas!!!, 2008-08-26)

we were given a sofa and love seat that totally clashed with out decor. i thought i'd cover it. i had been told by many people that furniture covers were awful and never looked right. I was pleasantly surprised by this product because once you got it on it looked pretty good. the color was chocolate and true to the color i saw online. the tabs that tell you where each part goes were off but it was extremely easy to see where and how it went on. it took less than 5 minutes to put this on my love seat. Other than having to iron parts of the cover it was great right from the package. The only drawback we have noticed is that is really hangs on to lint. We either vaccuum it or use a lint roller and that works just fine. Overall I am happy with this purchase and it sure beats buying new furniture.

when I first got this slipcover it was rather large/loose and required extra tucking to make it "appear" to fit. I just washed it today for the first time and it shrank! but fits perfectly now. the loden color is darker than it appears online and I was almost ready to send it back because we have 4 cats. I had read another review that stated fur did not come off, even after washing; not true with mine! it is completely clean after washing. Because of the dark color, I am nervous that it will start to fade after multiple washings, but I'll keep my fingers crossed I have used other one-piece slip covers before with poor results. The 2 piece design keeps it in place and gives it a quality look It washed well, looks nice and is of good quality material

Pleased it fit (hgshop, , 2008-07-13)

I have a large deep sofa that is in need of new upholstery so I decided to try a slip cover first. I haven't in the past because I hated the "sheet" look most slip covers offer. I was excited to see this had a zip cover for the cushions and was fairly fitted for the main body of the sofa. It fits my sofa everywhere except it's a little short down the back but that is because my sofa is deeper than most (I'm 5' 8" and when I sit back all the way my feet don't touch the floor) and the back cushions are incredibly fluffy. I love the fabric, it feels wonderful against your skin and it cleans easily. Cat hair vacuums right up and after a washing it was as good as new. I'm off to buy another for my loveseat.

The color of the cover was darker than the color shown online, but the color specification was a problem of the mfgr who showed a lighter color on the cover of the container itself. Once I covered all my loveseat, sofa and chair, everything looked very nice, it gave an instant make over to my living room. I also liked that the cover had separate pieces, it not only looks more "natural", but it also helps to keep everything in its place. I was happy to find much lover prices at Overstock and as usual the $2.95 S&H was a huge incentive to buy from Overstock instead of another retailer.

Sure-Fit Love Seat Slip Cover (Cathy6591, Cleveland, Ohio, 2008-08-31)

I am pleased with my purchase of the Sure-Fit Loveseat Slip Cover. The color and texture of the sllipcover were what I expected from viewing it on the website. However even though my loveseat's size is within the parameters set for the cover, I cannot get it to fit as snuggly as they show in the pictures. The cushion cover as well is much longer than the average loveseat cushion so it has to be folded over to hide the bulk. The slipcover is washing machine friendly--an added plus since our dog loves the chair! All in all, I am happy that I got the slipcover.
