definitly buying more and telling everyone AWESOME (1daddy2girls, Ca., 2008-01-18)

Warm & light. Warm & Light. Warm & Light. Light & Warm. Light & Warm.....Need I say more?????? This is my second purchase, first I purchased one for my daughter and myself. My wife didn't want one because "my mexican blanket is perfect for me" she said....Well that was until she tried ours out. I found myself without mine to use. Perfect for watching TV and it is the only blanket you need in the winter!!!!!! Yes I am serious!!! I think its because it holds the heat in from your body. I have no other explaination.. The best blanket I have ever owned. Now that my wife loves it she wants me to buy more for presents!!!! Its that good!!!! You can't go wrong here. I love my green and the girls love the brick red. Oh yea, Queen is the perfect size. Even if you have a king bed you will find yourself taking it into the living room constantly and the Cal King is absolutly huge!!! Did I mention that it is light???? I am an avid online shopper and this is the first time I took the time to write a review. Its that good, really!!!!

Great Spring/Fall blanket! (JustaCapeCodGal, Cape Cod, MA, 2008-07-15)

I ordered this blanket in the Moss color and have to say it's the exact color I was hoping for. It did have a bit of a "plasticky" smell right out of the package, but this was gone after the first washing. This is a very high quality blanket, though a bit too warm for the humid weather we've had for the past few weeks. It's a great weight, not too heavy and not too light....I'm definitely ready for autumn in New England now!!! The one downside I noticed was that after I washed it, a couple of the stiches running down the side looked a little loose. I'm sure this won't be an issue at all in the long run. I would certainly recommend this blanket to anyone, but I especially think kids would love it because of its softness and totability. Remember Linus from the "Charlie Brown" comics? This is his blanket!! A terrific value for the price. I'm sure we'll have it on our bed for a long time.

Super Blanket! (MammaMonkey, Southern California, 2008-01-14)

I bought this blanket hoping that it would be warm, but without adding too much weight, and I was not disappointed. In fact, this blanket is incredibly warm for the weight. Although we had changed to flannel sheets for the winter, we found that we were almost too warm with addition of this blanket! Believe me, on a cold morning, you will not want to get out from under this blanket! I purchased this blanket in "sand," and like the fact that the color is very neutral, so it will work no matter what other bedding we have on our bed. I also like the size...we have a king bed and there is plenty of drape all around, so no one gets left out in the cold! The fabric is also nice and soft. If you are looking to add warmth without too much bulk or weight, I would highly recommend this blanket!

Not what I wanted (Jane9, Northern California, 2008-07-17)

My friend had bought a wonderful blanket from Overstocks some time ago and I thought this was the same one. I found this blanket to be cheap , thin fabric which is already beginning to pill. The size was very large (I got the king) and the color darker than what I thought, but it was the fabric itself which I was not happy with. If I had seen it first I would not have bought it. We use it for the dog. I recently went to visit my friend and saw she had the same blanket for her dog. She had tried to re-order a second blanket like her first one, and got this. Perhaps the positive reviews are for an older version of this blanket. This one is a thin fleece. I cannot imagine why they call it heavyweight, nor supreme.

Supreme Heavy Weight Fleece Blanket (Beaglette, San Diego, 2008-05-25)

Though this blanket is a good value--and is sized generously--I do have two minor issues to mention. One is the somewhat shoddy stitching around the edges of the blanket, not always even or tight, and the second is the odd odor of the blanket. I immediately noticed it when I took it out of the packaging, and after airing it out, it was better but still there. I sprayed it with Fabreeze, so now it's better but still noticeable. It isn't enough to make the blanket unusable on my guest bed, but I do still smell it. I'm not sure if it's just this particular blanket or all of them. I imagine it has something to do with the fabric quality.
