Pearl Lover!!! (Hyde, San Diego, CA, 2008-08-07)

I was searching the internet for 6 gifts. I needed them for my mom and sisters who were giving me a baby shower. I knew I would find them something special on Overstock. I came across this beauty of a ring and decided to purchase 7 of them (one for me of course). I was so excited when I received these little gems, I did my normal inspection, and everyone of them exceptionally well made. What makes these rings so special Is you will not find any 2 alike they are unique In color. Some are more pink, peach, and more white mother of pearl like. You can tell the artisans pay very close attention to detail because although It Is a simple design the rings are impeccable. When I gave my mom and sisters their presents I got all smiles, some tears and a lot of hugs. They were so surprised! They absolutely love the rings and now all of us wear them as our sister rings. Trust the "O"!!! They do a good job.

This was my first purchase from Overstock.com and I must say I am quite pleased with the experience. The width and amount of silver used in this piece makes it very secure and well worth the price. I was a bit concerned with a pearl being set in a ring due to their soft and fragile nature, but I am confident that the setting of this ring will make this a piece I can wear without fear of it getting broken or damaged easily. The pearl in mine is more circular than the picture, but I still like it very much. Substantial, slightly raised pearl with a bit of a pink cast to it. As others have said, I think that the ring is sized a bit small but I have really tiny fingers so it fits perfectly. Thank you Overstock!

DOES NOT LOOK HANDMADE!!! (marisacwr123, San Diego, CA, 2008-05-21)

I was so excited to get this, and was really let down. What I really liked about the picture I saw on overstock was that it looked like a very soft silver, and had a very handmade appearance. When I received it, it had a very machine made appearance, it's a very shiny silver and makes it look cheap. The only thing I liked about the ring was how heavy and solid it felt. It has a good sturdy feeling, but what's the point if you don't like the style? The pearl was also a lot smaller than pictured. My advise is, if the main reason you're wanting to buy this is for the handmade look, pass, and look for something else.

I've been lusting after this ring for months and months. I snapped it up when the price was reduced. I received it this week and have worn it every single day - it's beautiful...the color of the pearl is a soft pink and the workmanship is terrific. Be careful, though. The only size that was left was a 10, and I bought it thinking that I could have it sized, or wear it on my thumb or something. This ring is not sized correctly. It is more of a size 8. That's fine for me because I can wear it on my middle finger, but if you are ordering your size you may be disappointed.

Baroque Sterling Silver with Pearl Ring (Alinewyear, madison wi, 2008-01-08)

This ring was even more beautiful than it appears in the picture - the pearl shows very well against the silver setting. I bought it as an x-mas gift for my mom and was secretly hoping she wouldn't like it and I could take it and buy her something else. It's perfect for every day or a night out. Also good for winter as it doesn't snag on the lining of winter mits or gloves. This was my 1st "O" purchase and it was a great experience. Shipping was prompt and b/c of the x-mas special it was free! Thanks.
