I love the ring (CL79, New York, NY, 2008-03-30)

I have alot of decent jewelry after a few years working in a jewelry shop in college - this however is now one of my favorites. The wide band is perfect (I have very long fingers) and it is heavy, seems very solid. This is a fantastic ring if this is your style. The first night I wore it my finger showed a little green which was scary, and I intended to return it. However since that first day, I have worn it probably a dozen times for days and overnight and have not had a problem at all, I don't think it was a problem with the quality of the metal - but just a warning, if it's a standard polish that was used on it or something similar, you may have a problem when you first receive the ring. The ring is very worth the money (despite the issue in the first 24 hours) and is a good chunk of sterling silver. One of my favorites!

I bought this ring and immediately fell in love with it. So many people commented on it. I wear it with business wear. It is clean and classy and just my style, even though I didn't know it since I have never worn such a large ring before. Silver is a very soft metal and tends to scratch easily. Not wanting to ever be without this incredible ring, I purchased another for backup. I would recommend this ring to anyone! Order a size larger than you normally wear.

This was my 1st purchase from Overstock. I have "window" shopped for sometime & thought I would give it a go. I love large pieces of jewlery, especially rings. This is a fabulous piece. It truely is quite heavy and has a brilliant shine. I ordered one size larger so I could wear it on my middle finger. The value for the item is outstanding and of course you cant beat the shipping. Absolutley love it and will definatley order again!

Sterling Silver Tapered Ring (Go2Girl, Baker City, Or., 2008-02-04)

Love the ring! It's bold so if you like dainty jewelry, it's not for you. Just a bit of info. on sizing...I took another "reviewer's" advice and ordered it a size larger because it was a thicker ring, well it ended up being a size too large. So I had to return it (paying the shipping) and re-order it in the right size. So my advice is to order it in your actual size. Well made and great quality!

I bought this to wear as a thumb ring and it looks great. it is simple and neat looking, but not boring or dull. The photo does not do it justice. It is a good weight, so I can tell that it won't get banged up too easily. When I first took it out of the package, it was very bright and shiny (too much so), but I went ahead and started wearing it, and now it has a soft and beautiful patina.
