I have to say this is definitely worth the wait and the purchase. It is a stand out and very very interesting. Like some of the other reviewers have said the ring isn't true to size for band finger go one size down. This has become a middle finger ring for me instead of a band finger ring which it was intended for. I am a male and I purchased this ring because I love different rings and it is still bigger on my hand. The stone isn't as big as some have made it out to be, I was looking forward to this huge stone ! It really isn't that serious it is average size in my opinion not too big not too small. It is true to the picture as far as the stone goes. Other than that the ring is awesome you should be impressed with it when you receive it ! If you want it soon go with priority shipping the $ 3 shipping took every bit of 7 days which was very frustrating !

I have seen rings very similiar to this one in jewlery stores at triple the cost. The workmanship is great and the ring is extremely attractive. I have recieved many compliments from friends and strangers on the unique beauty of the ring. I am so happy with this purchase and would higly recomend this ring to anyone looking for onyx and silver. The design helps to protect the onyx and I wear it without worry. The materials used are wonderful (the ring is on the heavy side ,but I find it comfortable to wear).

What an outstanding combination! Even after reading other reviews, I ordered my normal ring size. The size is true. However, it does flip around as it's top heavy. I solved that problem by stacking small plain silver bands on each side of the shank. Works beautifully! The ring is stabilized & EVERYBODY who see it comments on it. Definately a ring to wear with bolds. Great value & price!

Save your money (even if it's just a little bit) (RingLover08, New York, NY, 2008-02-17)

I always wear large rings, but it's important if it's large that it not look cheap. This ring looks like plastic, not a real onyx stone. It is very tacky. Also, even with the proper size, the stone is so large and heavy that the ring twists and turns on the finger. I was going to return it, but it isn't worth the shipping costs. Maybe I'll wear it once a year or something . . .

Bold and Unique Ring! (JW97219, Portland, OR, 2008-05-17)

This is a really unique ring. I love the setting. It's very well made and the quality of the silver and the onyx stone is excellent. I love bold jewelry and this ring is one of my new favorites. I might suggest that if you are between sizes that you size down. The stone is quite large and it has a tendency to want to slide around if it is at all large on your finger.
