I bought this ring for myself - I don't have large hands nor are they 'petite'. This ring just overwhelmed my hand - unfortunately I have decided to return it - but it's hard to judge from the photos - a suggestion to you would be to put the ring on a maniquin's hand so you could have a point of reference. This ring covered my entire first joint - making it uncomfortable to wear. Otherwise - I am almost always satisfied with overstock. PS - if you note - I gave 5 stars for everything including workmanship - this is really a beautiful ring so I felt justified in giving it a high rating -

Peridot is my birthstone and in combination with the lemon quartz (center) stone, the gems are very complementary. The ring has a lot of bling going for it; it's substantial in size and shine. At first I thought it looked too large on my hand, but my husband loved the way it caught light and remarked that it looked great. So, this ring is a keeper in my jewelry collection and I will wear it often and proudly.

Cheap looking (Sparklers, CA, 2008-01-16)
 
The ring had no real sparkle or shine, the peridots were pale and leomon quartz was unremarkable and downright dull. The setting design turned out to be a little clunky looking, however the physical workmanship was pretty good. Really don't bother with this item not nearly as pretty as the picture.

The lemon quartz are very unique. I have been looking for such a ring for over a year and I couldn't find one. Finally, I find the ring on the web. I was thrilled, I couldn't wait to have it delivered. The ring was delivered quickly and it looks amazing on my hand. I love wearing it.

This ring is beautiful. It looks just like the picture. This ring is large, but not too big, (I have large hands though)which is the fad these days. I sized it to be able to wear it on my index or my third finger so I have exactly what I wanted and am therefore very satisfied.
