Disappointed (Tejh, Delaware, 2008-08-27)

I was very excited to recieve this ring in the mail and couldn't wait to put it on. When I first took it out of the box it looked beautiful. I put it on immediately because it was so pretty. Well after a few minutes my finger started to itch. Then I started to examine the ring more closely. The center stone was discolored. It has a brown spot in it. In addition to that the ring just looked fake. Nothing close to my real engagement ring. My 12 year old nephew looked at it and said "That is not real, why do you have that on?' There is no way I could wear this ring outside and try to pass it off as the real thing.

I have this ring for myself, and I get lots of looks. You have to keep it clean, but it really sparkles. I wear it with a 5 stone band I also bought from Overstock.com and they make an impressive pair. The size was true. And I wear my rings 24/7. Nobody has a clue they are not real.
