I bought this ring for my best friend's birthday. She is a "purple nut" and has a lot of amethyst jewelry. You should have seen her reaction to this ring! Her eyes nearly popped out of her head, and she is not easily impressed! It really is a gorgeous ring, great saturation on the amethyst and the tanzanite is a beautiful lilac color, a real lilac, not washed out like some I have seen. It is a lovely design, it made her a wonderful present, and I'm only sorry I didn't order one for myself! Besides, I couldn't believe the price, I have seen other amethyst/tanzanite rings which were not nearly as pretty, and for 5 times this price! I love Overstock, they help me find amazing gifts at affordable prices!

This was my first purchase from Overstock and now that I have a 1year membership there will be many more to come! I have had my eye on this ring for months and it was a great buy. The stone is sparkly and the fitting is very comfortable. It looks like a very expensive ring so for the price it is an exceptional buy. This is my first amethyst and I am very proud to own this ring. I have already received numerous compliments and this is my favorite ring so far!!

This is a pretty birthstone ring, with a fairly large amethyst and surrounding blue tanzanite stones. I would've liked more sparkle in the main stone. The pictured amethyst is more alluring, but when I received the ring, the stone was dull in color.The tanzanites are faintly lavender in sunlight, but often look clear in color. It's a nice ring for every day wear, but it won't knock your socks off.

I love this ring. Lot's of bling and bang for the buck! The center stone is a large and very pretty mid to deep purple color and the surrounding stones are a pale bluish color. Nice combo. The ring looks expensive and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I ordered a size 6 but this ring seems to run a little small if you are considering it.
