Great for two people (jennyIndiana, Bton IN, 2008-07-30)

This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm learning how to steam stuff, so this is great for beginners like myself. I've been using it every few days for the past month, and there's hardly any wear and tear from handwashing and the dishwasher. And I dropped the lid and it didn't break (it bounced!). Great for the price.

Not quite happy with purchase but would recommend for some one who needs it. The pot is mostly for a single person to use as it is small. After using it a couple of times the pot now has spots at the bottom of the pot which is not too attractive to see. The pot is not worth what it is selling for.

Better as a steamer than pasta cooker (Katieluvsfl, Long Island, New York, 2008-06-18)

The low price of this makes it worth it for a steamer, but the size is smaller than I thought it would be. If I had paid attention to the specifications I would have known. Definitely big enough to steam a family size portion of vegetables or a couple of portions of pasta. Overall, not a bad buy.

I am a chef who also loves to cook at home... I love this little steam pot and find it so good for all manner of cooking... pasta for two, homemade soup, big batch of chili, heaps of steamed vegetables and even stove top popcorn. It's small size is also great for storing in my tiny NYC kitchen.

Steamer (StefD, Chicago, IL, 2008-06-07)

I was looking for a steamer that could replace an old 3 piece one I had. I really wanted it to be large enough to steam an artichoke. When I saw one in the photo for the steamer I went ahead and bought it. It's great! Much more compact than my old one. Well made and easy to clean.
