Could not be happier! (TXMom2BLAKEandTY, Houston, TX, 2008-06-13)

I could not be happier with the Space Odyssey Cotton Patchwork Quilt Set. I bought it for my 6 year old boy; he loves it and it has really sent his imagination soaring. We have since bought a solar system kit and he is painting 1 planet a week while he learns about them. I have also planned many summer-time activities which are space themed.If your child is anything like mine, he really need some type of motivation to get him away from the TV and computer games. This blanket was the perfect jumping off point for him. Not only is it of remarkable quality, and the perfect weight for nightly use, but it is also at a great price. If you shop around you will find that other sites are selling at $20-$50 more than Overstock! It is made from soft cotton- no starchy hard feeling like some quilts. I know this quilt set will be in my family for generations to come.

Space Odessey Quilt (Craigsmommy, Lexington, SC, 2008-07-23)

This product by far exceeded my expectations. My son was more excited over the quilt than he had been over many toys. His room is decorated in primary colors and the quilt really pulls everything together making his room look more like a dream room. When we have company he pulls the quilt out and sits on it during movie time. The quality of the quilt is amazing...and for the money I know this is one of the best deals I have ever received. We have had the quilt for nearly a month now and it still looks to be in brand new condition despite being dragged through the house. My son is 4 and a half years old. I HIGHLY recommend this product to any one that has a son (or daughter) that likes outer space in the slightest. I am considering buying more...

My son loves these (emontx, Houston, TX, 2008-06-02)

This comforter & sham set is as cute as it looks on line. The quality of fabric & workmanship are both very good ( I have not washed them yet, but I have high hopes based on the construction). I bought 2 for my sons bunk beds, and they really complete his space themed room. The only comment I would make is that the colors are more vibrant than in the picture. The appliqued space images are in nice bright (not too bright) colors (red, yellow, blue, green purple, teal, orange). They look more muted in the pictures. The blue background is pretty true to color. It is not quite a navy, but is a deep blue. This set is a great value, and I expect it to last for a long time.

Have had for 5 years (TPoPArt, North Little Rock, AR, 2008-05-07)

I was surprised to see that Overstock.com is still selling these quilts. I got one for my son over 5 years ago. The quilt has been washed MANY times over the past 5 years and has held up beautifully. The material is soft and good quality. The colors are still bright. The weight is perfect. Now that my son is too old for a space theme bedroom, the quilt has become a house blanket to wrap up in while watching television. I've bought other quilts before that are decent quality, but none as good as this one. There is a lot of stitching. I think this is a great buy. Also, the reverse side is solid blue, so if you get tired of the planets, you can turn it over.

Perfect for a boys space room (ColoradoMomOf3, Metro Denver, Colorado, 2008-02-08)

I was looking for something colorful for a young boys space room as well interesting for him into his preteen years. The colors on this quilt are brighter than they appeared on my monitor, but I liked it even better when I saw it. The best part is that it's thin enough (about a 1/4") to easily fit in my washer and dryer and there is so much quilting I'm not worried about the batting balling up or the quilt falling apart after a lot of washes. Another nice thing about it being light weight is that it won't be too warm come summer and I just add another light blanket for the winter. It was exactly the solution we needed.
