Thunder Tumber Rally Cars(2) (peachymaer0624, SARASOTA, FLl, 2008-01-15)

These were given as a gift for a family member of mine. She and her husbanc (both 25yrs old) and their two children, ages 8 and 2 1/2. truly had a blast with the cars. My niece phoned me to thank me and said they were having lots of fun wiht them. They live is the NEast where the snow flies lots...so consequently, having an indoor toy for all of them to enjoy was a great choice. They are fun and family friendly. They are truly enjoying their times inside together. The construction was good and they have been seeing lots of action on from these cars~especially during the winter break when most parents are ready with these cars, during the kids' holiday vacay days at home. Movies and DVD's sometimes inside, sure beats repetition of movie rentals or PS -DVD's over and over, and while the enjoy them lots....i paid little!! ..AND I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO INVEST IN THESE, TO GO AHEAD AND DO SO.....!! LIVING IN THE MOMENT AND EXPERIENCING ALL YOU CAN....THAT IS THE SECRET TO GENUINE HAPPINESS....AND TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE.....JUST DO IT!! BUY THEM...THEY WERE GREAT!!

Decent price okay quality (myjani, Atlanta, GA, 2008-01-11)

I ordered 2 of these cars and received 2 running on the same frequency (one remote operates both cars) of the same color. I suggest that if Overstock is going to offer 2 cars as a pair, they should also offer varying colors and at a minimum 2 frequencies. As for the cars themselves, the on/off switch and battery compartment are poorly made and do not function well all of the time. When the cars are running the kids enjoyed them as they did pretty well on low to mid pile carpet as well as on tile & wood floors. The kids had fun to see the cars flipping about.

Fun for the pets (Joanne10, Kansas, 2008-01-15)

I bought the Thunder Rumble Rally Cars (set of 2) for excercising the pets. The dog especially enjoys the excitement of being chased around with the car. I'm assuming the cars are supposed to be on different frequencies but mine are both on the same frequency, so we can only use one at a time. The cars are very fast and never get stuck because a wheel on top rights them again if they turn over but they are hard to steer. The tank controls make for trick maneuvering. Overall the cars have been a lot of fun for us and the dog.

best of the Christmas R/C toys (mammatall, CA, 2008-01-07)

My 6-year old son received this for Christmas, along with other R/C toys. This is his favorite by far. It is very simple to operate, responds well to the remote and has lights and fast action. He loves it. It seems pretty durable for being a low-cost R/C toy. I love that it uses regular batteries instead of those rechargeable R/C batteries that are so expensive.

RC cars (EMOTAO, Elgin, Tx., 2008-01-17)

Disappointed that within the "pair" bought that oth were same frequency. Since they were a pair I thought they would be different. Upon reciept we installed batteries and played 5 min before one broke a wheel off and unable to fix, since the plastic piece broke, but the other is doing ok, have to be careful of running into table legs...do not recommend
