Premium Glossy 8.5 x 11-inch Photo Paper (pack of (tovah49, Arkansas, 2008-01-29)
 
I am pleased with the price for 400 glossy sheets of paper but not pleased with the product, unfortunately. The paper turns up at the edges and ink smears on it while still in the printer. Each page comes out with black smudges and when I attempt to wipe those off, the gloss becomes dull in those places. I think the reason for the smudges is that the paper is very thick. This is also the reason you cannot load your printer with this paper, but may only insert one sheet of paper at a time, which is time consuming and annoying. I bought the paper for a family cookbook I am making for my daughters which includes family photos. So far, I have had to replace each sheet of this paper because of the smearing and smudging of ink. I cannot think of any use for this paper because I am sure others will want to purchase it for the purpose of duplicating photos or making colored copies. Why else would anyone purchase glossy paper? 400 sheets of photo paper (Only1Lou, Machesney Park, IL, 2008-02-16)
 
I was excited about getting so many photo papers for a good price since I take alot of pictures. But the very 1st piece and everyone after that curls over on the top and bottom. Very aggravating when you try to print out and cut out the picture! But I have turned the paper over and put something heavy on it hoping to get it to straighten out. But I have to do quite a few ahead of time,since I don't know when exactly I'll need them and how many. I've never had this problem before with any photo paper I've ordered here, only difference is I didn't order as much before. Also when I opened the packages each pack (there were 4 with 100 in each) the plastic around them looked like someone had torn them to get some out. No big deal I guess. I think I'd order this again, since the pictures print out nice. I'm only rating it a 1 star and a no recommendation since I just didn't like the curl over on every piece.
