Faulous scarves! (Sagey, Boston, Ma, 2008-06-09)

These window scarves look stylish and high end. The price is a steal for the value. I got the burgundy color to go with the gold drapes, nice color combination. Make note they really look like dark burgundy which is what I wanted. They're good to go right out of the package, no wrinkles are seen once you hang them. I put them in my family room which has 3 windows all different sizes, that's to say they are all different lenghts but you have a lot of material to work with. I got compliments on them and since I spend a lot of my time in that room, I enjoy them plenty. Don't spend anymore time wondering whether you should get them or not, you'll love them.

I had originally bought another valance, and the material was too stiff and I could not get the drape that is needed for a window valance. I then purchased the Platinum Voile Sheer Window Curtain 6-Yard Scarf Valance and it was a perfect combination with my vertical blinds. The material has a beautiful soft drape and the color was perfect. The price made it an exceptional buy. I am thrilled with the look that this valance gives to my living room and I am thinking about purchasing the curtains to go along with the valance. Keep up the good work Overstock!

These are very nice valances. I bought mine in gold and they allowed me to get the drapey soft flowing look that I wanted. I paired them with sheer cream panels and they look very elegant in my living room/family room. I bought two but found that I need one more because of the way I hung them, so I am ordering another one. They are nice and sheer and you can easily manipulate them to get the drapey effect that you want.

My husband didn't want me to order the scarves that match the platinum curtains because he didn't want to make the windows, in his words, "look like a funeral parlor." Needless to say, I didn't listen and ordered them. They were great and added a finishing classy touch to the platinum curtains. Would you believe it, after we hung them, he even admitted he was wrong--a rare occasion after 38 years of marriage.

What can I say? The Beige valance is beautiful and accents my Taupe curtains perfectly. I shopped around and saw others that cost nearly 3x as much. The quality is impressive. They arrived so fast to my home that I am still in awe. As a frequent web shopper, this is by far the quickest I have ever received an order. I am very pleased with my purchase and will definitely order again and recommend!
