Watch Winder (robalina, Chicago, IL, 2008-05-04)

This watch winder was a great value for the price. I was a little worried about the quality of the material, being that the watch winder case is made out of plastic. However, to my surprise it didn't look bad and I was happy that it didn't make any noise when it was moving. Compared to the other watch winders we looked at, this one was by far the least expensive. It's not the most beautiful winder you'll ever see but if you're not as interested in having a leather case that you can display and just want a winder that works well and doesn't wake you up at night when it's turning, this is the one for you. That's not to say that you can't display this winder on your dresser...because we actually have ours on our dresser and it looks fine. It actually displays your watch nicely with the clear plastic cover.

For anyone that has a "self-winding" watch, a watch winder is a must. Especially if the watch has date or other date related features. There is nothing worse than having to recalibrate the special date features on a self-winding watch that has lost time! This item is of plastic construction and is powered by electricity and not batteries. It is fairly quiet and not likely to bother even the lightest of sleepers. This item is not well suited for traveling with...so if you are wearing a self-winding watch during your travels, keep it on your wrist.

I was skeptical (Texcowboy, Fort Worth, Texas, 2008-02-23)

I was skeptical when i ordered this Watch Winder because I had been stung on another site about a year ago with a Winder that lasted all of three days and it was in this price range. This Winder works great, is silent, has the option of which way the watch will turn and is easy to access. You can spend more money for a one slot watch winder but if you do it would have to be for a fancy wooden case. This modern looking plastic case works for me!

Nice Product (CaptainGeo, San Francisco, Ca., 2008-06-18)

I have owned the winder now for over a month and have had no problems with it. The motor is quiet and it doesn't bother me when I sleep (although it's across the room on the dresser). A person might be able to hear the motor if they placed it on their night stand next to their bed. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the price tag since other winders can cost up into the hundreds of dollars. So overall, good product, good price.

watch winder (tschvimm, Ocala, FL, 2008-08-01)

I checked many web sites before settling on this watch winder. It is made of black and clear acrylic rather than fancy wood so looks very plain. I just plugged it in, inserted my watch in the slot and pushed a switch. That was all that was needed to keep my automatic watches fully wound and running perfectly. the product takes up little room on the nightstand and is perfectly silent. Great value for the money. I recommend it highly.
