Quite satisfied! (Aspengal, Milwaukee, WI, 2008-07-18)
 
I had a really bad experience with another featherbed that I purchased from a dept. store and ended up returning it. (The feathers came out in handfuls; poking us every time we turned over and the bed would not actually stay on top of our full size mattress. Plus, the feathers would get pushed to one side of the bed so I was always straightening it in the morning.) So in buying this featherbed, like many other reviewers, I am pleasantly surprised. Since it has the baffle-box set up the feathers stay evenly distributed and the feathers do not come out nearly as significantly as with the other bed. I think it is impossible to keep every single feather from coming out so I don't mind the occasional poke. I would, however, recommend getting a cover for the feather bed- that way there is no chance of getting poked or the feathers coming out at all. But overall I am quite satisfied with this item by itself. The quality is very good and you can't beat the price! My bed is soo comfy to crawl into- it's very difficult to get out in the morning!

Excellent buy! (HeatherFromCalif, California, 2008-06-16)
 
My husband is a firefighter that was stuck sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress at the station. He was coming home from work exhausted and with his back aching. I ordered the featherbed for him and after the first night he called me and said he slept better than he had in months at work. When he's off duty he rolls it up and stores it. When he gets to work in the morning, he takes it oout, fluffs it up and lets it air out until bedtime. This was an EXCELLENT buy and great value for the money.

Sleeping like a baby (mk3eep, VIrginia, 2008-06-08)
 
I have had a lot of trouble sleeping for a while. I had considered buying a new matress, and my last effort to save money was to try a featherbed. I made the best investment for the money. I am sleeping through the night for putting little money into trying to fix my sleeping problem. The fabric could be a little softer, but overall I couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend this featherbed....not to mention it is not to hot to sleep on in the summer.

This is the third time I ordered this item.I purchased this item for my father last Christmas.Due to a double amputation he spent most of his day in an upright postion ,so at nite he needed comfort of a soft mattress.This gave him much comfort and allowed him the ablity to beable to get into bed with a firm mattress but a soft cocoon of feathers.I also purchased this for my mother inlaw with Arthritis and one for myself.Unbelievevable Value!!!!

I made this purchase without reading any reviews, based solely on the pricepoint. I'm very happy with the product. Having recently built a house, I haven't yet purchased a new box springs and mattress, currently sleeping on a used 30 year old set. This economical feather bed has made my nights much more restful. I haven't experienced any poking feathers. I will be purchasing a second one for my son's room when they are back in stock.
