I'm happy... (Tamblyn, Santa Barbara, CA, 2008-03-19)

The faucet arrived in just two days! Amazing. My husband is still recovering from the installation process, but this is due more to the way houses are designed (so little room under that sink!) than to any fault of the faucet. Actually, the faucet came with a small roll of plumbers tape, which we didn't need, but I thought it showed an attention to detail that is sadly lacking in most products these days. As stated in other reviews, the spray head does angle back slightly, which I'm not liking. Also, some reviewers suggested removing the washer to increase the force of the water flow. I tried that, as I'm not liking the whimpy water output. That only caused the stream to come out spastically, so we put the washer back and are just going to have to get used to the reduced flow. I was happy about the 'return to stream' feature, but that stopped working after a week. After all the work my hubby hero went to to get this faucet installed, I don't have the heart to ask him to go through this all agian so I can return it. I'll just deal. (I'd already asked him to go back under the sink to change the handle from the right side, which would SEEM to be where you'd want it, to the left side) The faucet looks great and I'm loving the extra room the height provides. The hose is plenty long enough to reach the counter on both sides of the sink (for filling pots outside the sink) and the faucet has a sturdy, well made feel. I think it was a really good value for the money, in spite of the few above mentioned issues.

Beautiful Product (serendipitous, Los Angeles, CA, 2008-02-19)

I purchased three of these faucets. They are beautiful. They are very solid and heavy, and look as heavy as they physically are. I have not had any problems with them - no leaking, easy to use and replace hose, and the spray is very nice. The spray is very high above the sinks, and like the previous reviews have mentioned, if you have a shallow sink, you will definately have splash going on. Also, as you wash items in your hands, the splash really does spray around the sink area. You get used to that pretty easily though. The units came with everything I needed to install them. My husband and I installed them in difficult to install cabinets, and connections all leaked at first. Had to put the plummers tape in the connections and really crank on the connections and then success - no leaks!

Yes - it's BIG! (CVILLE1, S Jersey, 2008-01-04)

After researching what all goes into a great faucet - this one fit every category. We hired a plumber to install it and I noticed that he did not bother to read the instructions. A day or two later, the handle fell off and we had quite a chore trying to locate the tiny hole on the back side for the tiny allen wrench. The instructions indicate tightening the screw BEFORE the faucet is hooked up to the sink. It's easy to keep clean, simple to use except for when your right hand is occupied and you have to reach behind the stream of water to turn it off with your left. I recommend an extra deep sink to go with it - the splash factor could be a problem with a 5" depth. We bought an 8" deep sink and have no problems - just be careful to rinse dishes and hands well below the edge of the sink.

What a statement!!!! (ABCollins, Mesa, AZ, 2008-01-07)

When this fabulous Danze faucet arrived my wife and I were amazed. We had just purchased a home that came complete with a leaky ugly faucet. We decided to replace it and went to Overstock.com and found this beauty. The Danze makes a statement in a big time way. At first when we opened the box that had arrived promptly, we thought maybe it was too big. That all changed after installation. It makes a statment and looks great. It has more than just it's good looks. This faucet works flawlessly. It's operation is smooth and functional. The pull down sprayer is fantastic. We love this faucet. We should build on to our home and add several kitchens just to have many more of this fantastic Danze kitchen faucet. We know that you will love it like we do.

Just beautiful! (Mumof3boys, Edmond, OK, 2008-01-28)

I have never owned a pull down faucet before, and I am glad that this is my first experience with one! The spray is strong, and the hose slides in and out with ease - which has made rinsing out the sink a cinch! This faucet, as others have mentioned, definitely makes a statement, but without being too overbearing, actually almost graceful. It fits beautifully in to our new kitchen, and my husband had no trouble installing it at all. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase, and for the price, you can't go wrong.
