Home Office (Kristy12, Northern Michigan, 2008-07-19)

We are very pleased with the two Onyx Bowtie chairs. The fabric is bold and striking so that the chairs show well and look like they cost a lot more. The fabric feels like it wear well, The photo makes it look like the fabric would feel soft but it's not; still it is fine for an office. The chairs are very sturdy and a nice size; they would hold weight well. The seat has a lot of depth so for a shorter person, like myself, if I sit all the way back, my legs dangle, whereas my husband is just fine. If these were every day chairs bought for the living room, I would say they wouldn't rate high on comfort if you were looking for a lounge chair, but they do offer good support and are fine for sitting on as an occassional chair. They are perfect for our home office. If we want a break from a computer desk, we can sit on these chairs with the coffee table to work in a different format. They were easy to assemble, shipment was fast, and everything was in perfect condition. We would recommend these chairs, especially for the price.

Great Chair (bluedot99, South Bend, IN, 2008-07-05)

I purchased two of these chairs to be used in a room that is currently being renovated. The chairs will need to be stored for a couple of months, but to make sure there were no problems and that the colors matched the other decor, I assembled one chair. It assembled easily, is very sturdy and large enough for the men in the family. Most importantly, the blacks and greys worked very well with the color palette and other items for this room. My daughter and son-in-law came to help me move things into storage and I asked them to assemble the other chair to check its quality, and to then disassemble and repack the chairs for storing. My son-in-law told me there was no need for repacking, as his living room had plenty of space to store them. So, for now, my children are using the chairs, and probably hoping that I'll find some other chairs before the room is done so they can keep these. Obviously, our family gives this chair a big "thumbs up".

Great Accent Chairs (Guest2008, Ohio, 2008-07-28)

I bought these chairs to go in my living room with a khaki colored love seat. They match well and provide a great accent to a plain colored couch. Guests consistently compliment me on these chairs and ask where we got them - - most expecting me to say some expensive furniture boutique -- which is exactly what we wanted! My problems were that the legs are shipped unassembled, and one of the legs was longer than the rest. So we had to send that back, but overstock.com was extremely helpful in resolving the issue, didn't ask any questions, and we had the leg within 2 weeks. Secondly, be careful when assembling the chair, there is just velcro holding the bottom flap of fabric on the chair, if you try to open it from the wrong side to attach the legs to the bottom you could potentially rip it.

Great Value (nicknameick, Los Angeles, CA, 2008-07-19)

I needed two chairs ASAP, black&grey and these are terrific. The curve of the back helps them to assimilate into any area of a room. Very comfortable. The value is unbelievable. $1.00 shipping was unbeatable! Some of the fabric is slightly slubbed, but not distracting. Make sure you have paper towels near when you assemble, as the screws are oiled--make sure you lay the chairs on the cardboard box, drop cloth, etc. Adding some plain throw pillows from my sofa helped soften the design of the fabric, as well as tie the room together. A great buy for a need for temporary furniture; or rooms that will get a lot of kid/pet action. Now if I could only get MY cat to sleep on them, instead of the expensive (long term investment) sofa. :) Enjoy!

Just Like the Picture (cgnva, , 2008-04-13)

I bought this chair to go with the Wenge desk (also on Overstock). Colors work great. Easy to match with black, grey, expresso, beige pieces. Easy to assemble. I am rating a 4 instead of a 5 because it will not be the sturdiest chair long term since the seat is hollow on the inside (this allows you to assemble the legs underneath). Also the fabric is polyester I wonder if there will be little balls over the long term. But it is strong enough to sit on and I use it a regular basis - still beautiful and new. I have gotten so many compliments, people think I got this at a specialty store.
