Doesn't work (Stinkerbellmom, Cincinnati, OH, 2008-01-07)

The light worked the first time we used it. The second time we used it, the light would not stay on. There is a button on the side that you push and it controls all the lights. Push it once and get the least light, push it twice and it gets brighter, so on and so on. Then push it the final time and it goes off; We have to hold the button in. To get any light at all. The clicking mechanism must have broke after the first time we used it. We were not rough with it at all. I just wore it to take the garbage down the driveway and put it up right away. I didn't ship it back, because I didn't figure it was worth the price to pay the shipping. I have shopped Overstock.com many times; this is the only product I have ever had trouble with.

great hands free light (msleanne, macon, ga, 2008-02-24)

My 3 yr old son gave this to his dad for Christmas. My son and husband both love to use it. We have a storage shed and I'm always getting my husband to take things down there or bring them up. Usually these things are heavy and cumbersome and we don't have a light down there, that's what husbands are for. He also had to fix a piece of duct work in our crawl space and I didn't have to come to hold a flashlight while he had to use both hands. My son loves all flashlights and wearing one on his head is a kick for him. The adjustable brightness is great, the brightest is very, very bright. It was a great deal compared to what others cost and it has held up perfectly well. great product. useful and fun. 3yr old and daddy approved.

The right Headlamp (DDDD1234, Michigan, 2008-01-16)

This Headlamp has held up during farm work, plumbing work, blizzard conditions, and all sorts of outside activities. It seems that we find more and more uses for it every day. We don't use the red flashing lights except as comic relief...but they work well. The batteries last a long time and you know that there is nothing worse than being in a middle of a job and having battery issues! Great item and we will be purchasing more of them if available (they sold out at Christmas).

O.F. Bushranger 18 LED Headlamp with 2 Red LED Str (Trojans, Cerritos, CA, 2008-01-09)

Unable to rate the durability of the product as I have had it only a couple of weeks and used it only a few times. The varying light intensity capability is a positive feature of the product but I can't see how I will use the red strobe lights. The on/off-function switch is easy to operate and the headgear makes the headlamp secure but not too confining. This is an excellent device to use when walking the dogs at night and retrieving the evidence of their presence.

My assistant (marhault, Philadelphia, PA, 2008-05-12)

The headlamp works beautifully! It has been a lifesaver and the light is very decent at just the first setting (2 LEDs). For the price it is definitely worth it. The only things to keep in mind is that the plastic is a little low-grade so do not drop these from a far height or onto a hard surface as they may crack or break. Other than that, with a little care, they will last you a VERY long time and serve invaluably.
