"japanese style"made in China By American Lighting (savetherobots, New York, NY, 2008-04-26)

the review title is a mouthful but reflects exactly what you will see printed on the well packaged box with your miyaki fusion floor lamp. It throws a lovely 60w light (light bulb not included). Elegant and practical this BLACK rubber wood frame lamp is a delight to the senses. It is nicely crafted -so nice to look at and works beautifully also as a large table lamp complete with decorative mid shelf unit. Blends to great effect with any decor, A real Class Act - Black with cream parchment paper shade. Minimalist, modern, eastern flavor. upscale design aesthetic as simple or refined as the environment it inhabits. A delight!

Color is really different (coptech, Miami, FL, 2008-04-10)

I got the lamps, the are very nice but are not as they are pictured in the site. On the site they are a cherry finish, the acutal lamps are BLACK, there is not even a hint of brown in the finish. I really like the lamps, but hate the color, I wish that they were as pictured on the site to match my room.

Very happy with this lamp overall. The 48" lamp puts the shelf at 24", a little lower than I had in my mind. Came right out of the box and plugged it in, really like being able to use a flourescent bulb.

The size of lamp is much smaller than pictured on the website, I had to build an eight inch base and attach it to bottom of lamp. The appearance was very nice. very easy to assemble

Just the right size for what I was looking for. Placed next to recliner it's perfect for reading and the little shelf keeps that morning cup of coffee and remote within reach.
