  • This hypoallergenic blanket has an ultra-soft sueded, downproof microfiber cover
  • End-to-end box stitch construction stops the down from shifting

Dimensions and fill weights:
  • Twin: 66 in. x 92 in., 12 ounces of down.
  • Full/Queen: 90 in. x 92 in., 18 ounces of down.
  • King: 108 in. x 92 in., 22 ounces of fill down.

Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.

Wash after wash ... (FussyBuyer, Poughkeepsie, NY, 2008-01-23)

I have had this comforter for over a year now, and I can say that I am very impressed with it's durability, warmth, light weight and over-all good looks. I use a front loading washer and regular dryer, and the blanket still looks great after many washings. It does shed a few feathers during the wash but this does not seem to be a problem. The washability is a great attribute of this comforter. Dry cleaning would be a pain, and I do not like the chemicals used in the process, the expense, and the inconvenience considering my busy schedule. Machine washability is a must in my requirements for a blanket. I love down comforters because of their light weight and superior warmth. In the past though, I found them to be just too warm. This blanket is just right for me, not too warm with enough down to make this blanket just right. I keep my bedroom at about 60 degrees at night. I am buying another one right now as a birthday gift for my friend. There is a polyester filled comforter there which is heavy and sweaty. For a low cost washable down blanket, this is a great buy, as long as you don't mind the polyester shell of microfiber. I have the one in Sage green. The color is nice and does match what I saw on my computer screen.

Value is dependent on Expectations (Bjockrock, North Carolina, 2008-03-06)

If you're looking for a THICK, pouffy down comforter, you will be disappointed. This item fluffs a little out of the box, but would never be considered thick or pouffy. On the other hand, I have one of those, and unless it sub-20 degrees outside and the heat is turned down, it's hot and uncomfortable. I prefer not to perspire under the covers. This unit is perfect for 10 months out of the year for me. It's a light cover that's warm enough in the cooler months and cool enough in the summer. I think it's ideal. I use it year round and supplement when it gets bone chilling cold, which isn't all that often in NC. This is actually the second I've purchased. I gave the first to my son who loves it. That's when I got the big pouffy. I'm ready to squnch the big pouffy into a storage bag. I'll make you a deal on it. Regarding size, I have a queen bed. The King hangs close to the floor on both sides. Almost too large, but the queen I once had wasn't quite as big as I wanted. Length, head to foot the same for both. You can go either way, dependent upon your preference for the look.

Over all, yes, I guess I'd recommend it to others. (Anjl, Georgia (transplant from the north to the south), 2008-01-23)

I'd make sure the people I recommended this blanket understood that, it is in no way a winter blanket. It is a lovely blanket, the material on the outside is heavenly soft, & the little bit of feathers in this blanket are a just enough for a chilly summer evening, or maybe a early fall or late spring (going into or coming out of Summer). If it is below 66 degrees, put another log on the fire, & toss some extra warm blankets on (in addition to this one), or dress in a sweat shirt or sweater (if your intent is to veg out in front of the TV, or fire). If you're just cozying into bed, & want a nice soft blanket over your sheets ( for May through September) this would be lovely in the not so chilly times of year. I have to say, it is a beautiful, soft, cozy blanket to wrap around you, when it's not tooo cold. I like it just fine next to a TOASTY warm FIRE, & when the TEMPERATURE is about or above 66 or so degrees IN the ROOM! Hope this review helps you out! Again, I would definitely recommend this blanket for a nice cool / warm evening in Florida (around 64 to 70 degrees).

Microfiber down blanket (jacklyning, pensacola fl., 2008-01-15)

If you want to make your bed feel like you are a queen or king. ,buy this . I have bought one for all my friends for Christmas and Birthdays. I wanted them to sleep as well as I do. They are so nice ,and look so good you can use them for a bedspread. Just buy a king if you have a queen and the extra length will cover the pillows. No kidding, they are so soft you feel like you have gone to heaven. and the price is so great, you can afford one for everyone you know . I bought a down set for my son a while back from a network on T.V.,( at least they said it was down ) it wasn't . we paid alot for it and had to throw it away. Overstock's products are as they say DOWN ,(no ends of feathers) are in this product all DOWN.This is why i've bought so many,

Airedale tested, Airedale approved! (AiredaleRescuer, Lake Cumberland Area, KY, 2008-02-20)

I live in a hundred year-old bungalow with gas heat. Keeping the thermostat on sixty degrees, I still got a $200 gas bill one month this winter. It's imperative to bundle up in bed, so I'm always adding layers. I have a high-fill goosedown comforter, but sometimes, even with the cold, it's just too much. With this blanket, I've found a serviceable layer with the warmth of down that's not too warm or bulky. My two Airedale Terriers also tend to overheat if the covers are too heavy when they're up on the bed, so this suits their needs as well. Just remember that it's a blanket, not a comforter, so the fill isn't really dense. If you're looking for an inexpensive transitional down layer, this is very good value for the money.
