A Really Great Bomber Jacket!!! (samsl8, Mechanicsville, MD, 2008-04-23)

I purchased this jacket as a gift for my uncle, who had mentioned that he had seen a friend who had a bomber jacket that he really liked. I called the friend and got a description of the jacket, and searched for bomber jackets until I found this one on Overstock.com. It fit the description closer than any other, and the price was exactly right. My uncle absolutely loved the jacket, inspected it all over, and called to tell me how impressed he was by the quality and the fit. He even mentioned that the lining of the jacket was a map of Europe (true to the original Bomber Jackets that WWII pilots were issued), and had found a little town in Holland where he had lived for a while! The jacket is heavy and warm, and the leather is of a high quality. Overall, I couldn't have done any better if I had paid $500 that most deluxe bomber jackets are going for at the high-end leather shops, and I am quite pleased with this purchase. Great coat, great value (lsseattle, Seattle, 2008-01-07)

I bought this and another jacket (the mechanic's jacket) for my boyfriend for Christmas. We both chose this one over the other - it is much nicer quality and a better fit. I got the extra large and this one is longer and a more generous fit overall. He absolutely loves his new coat. He even likes the sheepskin collar, which I didn't expect, and doesn't plan to remove it till the weather gets warm. If you're not sure whether to buy a large or extra large, you'd probably be safe with a large as the coat does not run small.

Bomber Jacket is a Hit (cowgirlblue, Sebeka, MN, 2008-01-12)

This jacket I ordered as a Christmas gift for my husband. I read the reviews and noted that many suggested ordering one size larger than normal, and this I found to be a great suggestion. The jacket is very comfortable and fits my husband well. He enjoys wearing it and gets many complements. Some reviews said it was a little stiff at first, but my husband felt it softened up very quickly - after wearing it maybe just a few times. I would recommend this to others.

Bought this for my husband and am generally pleased. A little lighter weight than I expected, but should be okay for our warmer climate. My husband always wears a large, but thankfully I went one size up and it fits with a little extra room for sweaters underneath. I think the large would have been tight across the shoulders. I would not neccessarily call it a steal, but definitely it seems like a good deal. We will see how it holds up with time.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! It's very warm.. great quality leather that will break in nicely.. and it will last a long, long time. I read the reviews about the sizing.. glad I followed the advise of some of the other reviews I read prior to purchasing, and ordered one size up.. had I not it would have been too small. AWESOME quality and great value! Thank you, OVERSTOCK!
