Sleeping on a traditional spring mattress creates pressure points that become the source of discomfort, causing tossing and turning. Memory Foam has a gel-like feel that is temperature sensitive to soften the mattress with the warmth of your body. It recognizes shape and pressure points and adjusts to distribute body weight evenly.

Being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes traps a fresh foam odors. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor. Memory Foam is resistant to dust mites and is naturally antimicrobial.

Due to machine cutting manufacturing processes, there may be slight variances in the dimensions of this product. This product arrives very tightly packed. Please unwrap and allow 48 hours for this product to return to its original shape.

Foam Mattress Topper: Ideal for Pullouts! (ForceReconS4, Milwaukee, WI, 2008-01-18)

I've heard about these space-age foam materials for bedding, like the ones used in things like the Memory Bed or the Foam Pillows. I didn't know they made mattress toppers, but when I found out that Overstock had a few, I decided to try it out to use on my pullout mattress. I have a Queen-sized Sofa Pullout in my sunroom, and the room is used heavily for my new son's playing. Sometimes, on very cold nights, we like to sleep in the room b/c it has a fireplace. As you can imagine, the mattress quality on a Sofabed is basic, and the use of pullouts isn't envisioned as a long-term sleeping arrangement. The mattress on the sofa is OK, but after putting the Foam Topper on, it's almost like a transformation occurred! The comfort was upped exponentially, and I find it easier and easier to have an excuse to sleep downstairs! The product was wrapped tight, but expanded nicely within few hours. The smell was very industrial but also wore off after a few hours. The cushion expanded to about 2-3 inches, but feels great. Best of all, I don't have to remove it! It crushes into the bed folds and stays where it belongs, and simply puffs back up when I open the bed. Great stuff, and worth the money! As a bonus, two small pillows of the same material are included. Highly recommend it!

A great night's sleep for very little money (radams, Oregon, 2008-01-05)

We have a six year old king sized bed. In the last several months my husband and I had both been having difficulties sleeping, waking up soar and creaking out of bed soar. I ordered this a few weeks before Christmas and it arrived in about eight days. We unpacked it at about six at night, amazed at how little it packed to and skeptical about it reforming. By 10 or 11 when we were ready to go to bed it was fully reshaped so we went ahead and made the bed. From that FIRST NIGHT our sleep has been incomparable. It is firm enough for my husband. You don't just sink into it. But for me I found that my hips and knees have a place to go and don't wake up feeling like I've compacted my body weight onto them all night long. The only two "gripes" I could find about it are that it does slip a bit on the bed after a week or so and you may need to straighten it. The other thing is that for us the memory foam pillows are not useful. All around though, this was a great purchase and will stretch our time to new bed purchase significantly.

2-inch memory foam mattress and contour pillows (Blondie625, Murrieta, Ca, 2008-03-16)

I havn't had the product very long yet, but I'm liking it so far. I received it really really fast which was good...only a couple of days! I opened it and it did have a little hole in it already, but I thinks it's just from the shipping company because the bag it was in was a mess! I would suggest that they put it in a box instead! Other than that, everything else went smoothly. I opened it and it didn't take very long for it to take it's shape. I laid it out on the bed for about 20 mins, and then I put my sheets and everything back on. I love the mattress topper! I'm still trying to decide if we like the pillows. I have been sleeping with it and it's been okay, but my husband laid on it and he immediately didn't like it. They are really thin. We like a lot of cushion in our pillows! I like the big fluffy feather pillows, so it takes some time to getting used to if you have never slept on this kind of a pillow before. Overall, it's a great product, and very compfortable. It's really good for the price.

Great Product for the Money (newhampshirelady, Hanover, nEW hAMPSHIRE, 2008-02-29)

My husband has a bad back, so we bought a mattress that was very hard. It has bothered my back so much that I slept on the coach. Before buying a new mattress I thought we should try a memory foam topper. At the department stores they were on sale for $160.00. So when I saw the same one on overstock for much less, I thought I would try it. I was a little concerned when reviewers said it had a slight smell on opening, but they said it went away very soon. I am very sensitive to smells. We received it, and I was shocked at how small it was on opening, but it puffed right up. The smell was slight and gone in just a few days. It did not bother me at all, and I very sensitive to that. My whole body feels great when I wake up and my husband loves it. He feels much better with it also. This is a great product for the money, and we would highly recommend it. I am off the coach and back in the bed--alright, and for a great price. I am now hooked on Overstock and will buy many more products. Buy this--it is superb!

Sleep tight (TomNJ, New Jersey, 2008-01-23)

I'd heard about memory foam bedding and thought that at Overstock's price, I could afford to experiment with it. The memory foam pillow made an immediate and dramatic improvement in my sleep. My neck felt relaxed in the morning. I didn't keep putting my arm under it trying to find a comfortable position. How could I have ever slept without it? This is probably the most cost effective sleep aid you can buy! The matress made a difference but was not as dramatic. While I didn't see a big comfort difference, I stopped getting up 3 or four times a night. It also gave me enough support to be able to sleep on my belly, which I've never done. I bought the 2". In retrospect, I wish I'd gone for the four inch the results would probably be more noticable. However, after a week in (good) hotel beds, I could feel the difference the memory foam makes and was glad to sleep on it again. Overall, a 5+ for the pillow; a 4- for the matress; glad I bought them.
