Pleasantly surprised!!! (TrippleMsNY, Queens, NY, 2008-03-11)

I have tried to buy bags on Overstock before and wasn't too impressed. I decided to give it one more try and was pleasantly surprised! I think this bag is more than worth the price I paid. I bought it in black. The bag is made of very durable, supple yet sturdy, high quality leather and the stitching in the contrasting white thread is polished, neat and strong. The strap does concern me a bit however. I think after a year or so of daily use it will start to fray before the body of the bag ever has issues. I do however love the fact that the strap is wider in width for my wider width frame, but I wish it were made of nylon instead of cotton. I think a nylon strap would make this bag last at least five years without any issues. The insterior partitions could also be made of more durable fabric, but overall it's a magnificent bag with lots of compartments and is a very good value for this price point. The style is a little more upscale and adult than most shoulder/messenger styled bags. I'd love to be able to afford several of them!

Great Bag (Johnandrews, , 2008-08-28)

I love this bag and I have received many compliments on its good looks. It has plenty of room and compartments for all of my work, phone, glasses, keys and snacks for the day. My work place is not convenient to too many amenities, so it's great to have enough room to take everything I am going to need for the entire workday. Since it’s a long walk from the parking lot to the office the shoulder strap is perfect for carrying the bag either on one shoulder, or over my head. It was exactly what I had hoped it would be.

Leather Teddy Messenger Bag (EH615, Nashville, TN, 2008-01-05)

I purchased this bag for my job, because I often have to carry home files and a laptop. It has adequate space, and it looks nice. The only downside (if I had to find one) is that the latch is made of plastic, and I am somewhat concerned about it's durability relative to the rest of the bag. Nevertheless, I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great messenger bag that will transverse the classroom and the boardroom.

It is big, but not too big. Lots of pockets and organizers in and outside of bag. Flap over secures and keeps things in place and secure. Very professional in appearance, bought for work, can fit papers, files, purse things and even snacks...can even fit thermos in back pocket. Made of leather and very high quality. Strap is kind of long, but then I am short. Would highly recommend! Great value!

Leather Teddy Shoulder Bag (ginnydev, Aurora, Colorado, 2008-05-23)

I bought this bag for a plane trip. I wanted something easier to carry than a backpack. This bag answered all my needs and more. It was very comfortable. I loved the pebbled leather as I felt it was more durable. The strap made of denim was much easier to keep on my shoulder, also to put over my head. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who needs a larger tote type bag.
