too thick,bulky as an everyday bag/only short term (pleasedMOM, Mid West, 2008-03-09)

I had high hopes for this bag, but, for the most part, it works only well as a flight bag for short term use. Even when fixed as a cross-body bag, it really is too thick(4-5 inches when stuff is put in the main compartment; bulky = sticks out off your body, gets in the way during everyday movement and use. Main reason as to why it got a 2 in durability...the metal rings at the end of the long purse strap are held on to the bag by ONLY 3/4 inch flat thin-ish loops of same color leather SEWN onto the bag, not a metal to metal contact, which would have been much more durable. The leather (beigey-yellow) is really a more yellower tone than I anticipated, but this is the color shown with alot the burnt orange colors/combinations these days. Best part is the phone pocket...That is a feature that is HARD TO FIND! The expandble h20 bottle (16oz only) (backside half=black mesh w/ half purse color leather) pocket is also handy in the short term. Note also that the long cross-body(possible) -strap is only attched on ONE side(not shown in the picture), so, hanging it as a shoulder is possible also, but it stuck out away from my body, coat/hips. I plan to get a one inch-thick one, so it will ride closer to me. I was kinda disappointedMom, not pleasedMom on this purchase.

What would I have done without this bag? (HappyTraveling, Mississippi, 2008-06-01)

I just returned from a 12 day trip to London & Paris. This bag made my trip so much easier. I started using the bag about a week before I left so I would be used to it. It had a place for my water bottle and cell phone on the outside. On the inside, there was room for so much including a short umbrella. It made organizing everything so much simpler. The only negative with the bag is that I wore it out. By the end of the trip the black on the black leather edging was worn off. I will try to remedy this with my trusty black magic marker. This would not keep me from recommending this bag to everyone. It was worth it.

This purse is just like this page says; I've had it for a couple of weeks and it works well. My only critical comment would be that the magnetic closure doesn't work if the purse is very full....at least not as well as a clip or buckle would work. It just comes out of alignment and can't hold it shut. I have repacked the main body and then it works fine. The purse doesn't hold a lot but it's not supposed to. It is well made and the strap is plenty long to fit over my shoulder and rest comfortably on my hip. I don't even have it extended the whole way. All the pockets are handy for keeping things separate.

I really love this bag. I was in the market to replace my HUGE messenger bag that doubled as a diaper bag. Now that my daughter no longer needs diapers and bottles I wanted something smaller for everyday. I saw this bag and ordered it not thinking it would work and it does!! The strap is long enough to wear cross-body which I perfer. It holds everything I need for around town. I still use a larger bag for vacations or eating out with my daughter (coloring books and crayons don't really fit well) but the bottle holder on the side has really come in handy. It holds all the must haves and keeps your hands free.

A must have for shoppers or travelers (BooCee, Clinton, MD, 2008-04-09)

I purchased this bag for upcoming vacation to Alaska, but couldn't wait to use it. Needed something that was roomy and able to hold a camera along with other necessities. This bag will do the trick. It is roomy and with all the compartments, you can easy be organized. The leather is great and all of the zippers work fine. I love the length of the strap. Normally, I have trouble with the straps when I want to wear them across my body but this one works perfect. The only problem I am having now is what color to order next. I hope this review helps.
