| Stand too short?
(coastaloregonian, Oregon Coast, 2008-04-05) |
| |
| Ths is a sturdy hammock stand that should last. We did have a problem with the hammock not fitting it well. At the maximum extension (and without the use of the large chain extensions), the hammock bottomed out when a 140 pound person got into it and one was left lying or sitting on the ground. We have ordered another hammock and are hopeful that a different style of hammock will rectify the problem. It is not clear at this point whether we had an unusually large hammock, or whether the stand is too short. |

| Hammock Stand disintegrated
(Leec3, New Braunfels,Texas, 2008-06-18) |
| |
| Although it was advertised as solid wood, it was actually laminated wood. The laminations of the different plies started to deteriorate and delaminate in about a year. After about a year the finish was almost completely deteriorated at the sun exposed surfaces, and the exposed wood surfaces started to split. It looked to be of excellent quality when I received the hammock stand, but time took it's toll. I wish they had said not to put in the outdoor,or maybe to re coat it with weather proof varathane. |

| Although it was advertised as solid wood, it was actually a laminated material. The laminations of the different plies started to deterioate and delaminate in about three to four months. After about a year the finish was almost completely deteriorated at the sun exposed surfaces, and the exposed wood surfaces started to split. It looked to be of excellent quality when I received the hammock, but time took it's toll. |

| Hammock Stand
(GirlattheBeach, Wilmington, NC, 2008-05-07) |
| |
| Just as I had hoped. Looks great and was fairly easy to put together. Some of the drilled holes were off a bit, but with some help it went together pretty quickly. I have looked at other stands, and this one is so much prettier and was a great value for the price. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. |
