Nice Bed! Bit smaller than what description says.. (beachdweller, Space Coast, Florida, 2008-02-13)

We ordered 2 of the large dog beds for our boxers (they are both smaller boxers around 50lbs each). The beds were much plusher than what we had seen at the stores, however, we still put them on top of the rug as on the hardwood floor they were still a little hard (spoiled dogs!). the baffled sides are nice and the dogs like that they can sprawl out over the sides or curl up in the bed... the beds were slightly smaller than what measurements were provided in the description... they seemed 2" or 3" less in length and 1" to 2 " less in width... (they are oblong shape, not round). I would say if you have a larger dog than ours... like a lab or something stockier, or even a larger boxer than ours (the more typical 65 lb boxer)... you may want to get the size up... overall, would buy again, dogs love them... only problem we have is keeping the cats out of the bed as the cats are "top dogs" in this house and kick the dogs out of their beds so they can curl up! Khaki color was nice... hue is more green than brown so you may want to keep that in mind. Have not washed them yet so anxious to see how they do... we have a frontloader so should handle them fine... can't imagine putting them in a top loader with an agitator though...

Puppy Approved (Autielee, Pittsburgh, PA, 2008-03-15)

My 3 month old yellow lab loves this bed! She looks so cute when she lays in it and rests her chin on the sides! She will probably need the XL size when she is full grown though. She has been chewing on the bed and it has yet to tear. However, I chose the green color and her shedding is very evident. Although the intructions state that the entire bed can be placed in the washing machine, I don't think this will work for the large bed unless you have a front loaded washer. I have found it easier to spot clean it and use a lint roller. All dog beds seem to be way overpriced. But this one seems to be the best value for your money. I would recommend this to others.

Doggie Donut Beds (AnnieM54, Spartanburg SC, 2008-05-05)

I recently purchased 2 of these beds for our Boston Terriers in two different colors. The black bed was great, lots of filling and fluffy. The maroon bed was flat with hardly any stuffing, especially in the bottom of the bed. Don't know how two of the same product came out so different. Great price but disappointed with the other. My problem is I threw away the box and had nothing to return the bad one in so I'm stuck w/ it. It just sits in the corner and the other dog sleeps on our bed. Also beware that even thought the black bed was shaped well and very fluffy, it sure shows dirt very fast and I'll have to take it to the laundrymat to clean.

Doggie Bagel Bed (Lively, Orange County, So. California, 2008-03-19)

I have 4 Rat Terriers so a bought the large bed. I bought the red color and it's a really good red color. The fabric is really good quality and durable. The only problem that I had with the bed was that they opened the side seam and pulled out some of the stuffing. I sewed it back up with fishing line thread and it is holding fine now. The bottom is reinforced with a durable fabric that seems to be plastic infused and this helps to hold up the sides of the bed fairly well. It washes great!! My dogs love this bed and find it very comfortable and fun to use.

Very small compared to description (Dags, Marquette, MI, 2008-02-03)

This is unfortunately the first bad review I've ever written. This dog bed is nice but if you have a dog larger than 55-60 pounds they will not fit comfortably on this bed. You'd be better off getting an extra large or just flat round or rectangular. I did read the other reviews and it seemed like my dog would fit okay but it was obviously too small. I have a tall chocolate lab who weighs only 65 pounds and he's too big for this bed. Hope this helps someone decide so they're not stuck with a dog bed they can't use. The quality is just ok.
