Refurbished doesn't mean junk (BetsyinIndy, Indianapolis, IN, 2008-07-15)

We bought this dehumidifier for our finished basement and we really like it a lot. We like that you are able to set the humidity level to what you want and it will automatically cycle on and off to maintain that level. The best feature is the ability to attach a hose to the unit and have it drain directly into our sump pump pit. No lugging heavy containers of water upstairs that will undoubtedly spill along the way. This is also a great feature if you are like me and forget to go downstairs to check and see if the resevoir is full. When it is, the unit will shut off and won't be doing it's job because it's full. Even though this was advertised as refurbished, I never would have been able to tell. It came in solid packaging and the unit itself was spotless. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Dehumidifier works well. (Deenellie, Arlington, MA, 2008-06-16)

I needed a dehumidifier for my apt. that gets very humid. After researching the price online, I found that Overstock.com had the best price/value for what I needed. Overstock was offering an incredible shipping offer. There's no way I could pass it up. God only knows what the shipping would've been being this machine is a bit heavy and bulky. Good thing it's on casters. Getting it out of the box was a chore. It's doing what I need it to do. The only issue I have with it is that it's too loud! I'm none to happy about that. It's louder than most air conditioners. If you're watching TV, you will need to turn up the volume, way up! Otherwise it's fine.

Good bargain (eastend, Houston, TX, 2008-06-10)

The refurbished LG Dehumidifier looks like new and works like new. It runs quietly and the electronic display is easy to set. A suggestion is to have a longer cord, especially since use of extension cords with it is discouraged. I think I got a real bargain, and it arrived more quickly than the time frame given.

even if this is refurbished it was great. works a well as my other one that cost twice as much there wasn't a filter with it and as soon as i let them know, i was sent one with in a couple of days great product and super great price
