does the job (gregg11, ny, 2008-07-28)

i bought this air conditioner in may of 08, got it for about 300 shipped.what a deal it fits well in my slider window it cools very well and has a great fan.i have a smaller kitchen and living room and it cools these two rooms from 82 to 74 in 2 to 3 hours.i have been impressed by this especially because these are usually much more expensive for a casement type ac.it also looks great and has a energy saver feature and a timer so it shuts off when you set it.but make sure you use a dedicated circuit or have no big apliances on the circuit.i blew the circuit protector on the end of the cord and had to rewire it,(it was my fault) overall it does more than expected for a very good price.hopefully it lasts for a few years

Air Conditioner (10catsegbert, Columbus, Ohio, 2008-05-16)

the window air conditioner I received was great. It is hard to find this type of air conditioner with out paying quite a lot for it. This was very reasonable and fit the window perfect. It cools the rooms great and I especially like the looks of it and that it has a remote control so you can adjust temparture if need be without having to keep getting up.

Great unit (firealarm911, Sebastopol, CA, 2008-07-13)

Received the unit last week and installed. Since I live in the bay area of San Francisco was going thru more hot spells then we normally get, unit has worked great! The remote control for use across the room, and the different modes you can use the unit, is perfect. Thanks
