great ottoman coffee table (askapex, encino, california, 2008-06-18)

We received the ottoman/ coffee table and it looks awsome. I must say it looks better in real life than the picture that is posted. the only thing is that there was a cut on the leather on the side probably from shipping. I didn't feel like dealing with customer service to get a refund or return the product. The cut is small and my wife and I can tolerate living with it. make sure you check your shipment before accepting it. the workmanship is good enough and doesn't feel like it'll break; the table feels sturdy. it was easy to assemble: just screwed on the legs by hand. Since I have kids and they play in the living room...this table helps clear up the living room in minutes from all of their toys. The table offers an abundant amount of storage.

Best Furniture Purchase Ever! (Smartshopper1234, PA, 2008-02-20)

This ottoman is probably the most useful, functional & attractive piece of furniture that I've ever purchased! I had a party over the weekend in my living room (where we always hold our parties) and the ottoman (which replaced a glass coffee table) made the biggest difference. It helped us to fit more people comfortably & improve the flow of our guests. several people can sit on it at a time, its attractive & the storage feature is a bonus. I would have loved it even without the storage feature.

Black leather storage coffee table-great for kids (urbanmom123, San Francisco, CA, 2008-01-30)

We just moved into a new condo and are adament about not letting our infant son take over the house. With that said, we thought our existing glass coffee table was a bit dangerous, so we purchased this leather bench as a coffee table---our first purchase on overstock-great experience, easy to put together, always looking for more storage space, looks very nice in our minimalist decor, we've gotten lots of compliments and our little guy loves trying to pull himself up on it.

Perfect Ottomon/Coffee Table combo (freemannola, New Orleans, LA, 2008-01-24)

We love this piece of furniture. A while back we purchased two great leather club chairs from overstock and this goes perfectly with those. We love eating in the living room and using this as an ottoman. It's also a perfect table for drinks, but we use a tray for glasses. It's pretty stable and flat but as an extra precaution we use a tray if we're having cocktails. While it's big enough for various uses, it's not so huge that it takes up too much space in the room.

I was very apprehensive ordering furniture online. I was moved by the reviews, so I took the plunge. I am very glad I did so. This is a sturdy piece, it is attractive and very functional. Excellent replacement for our old glass coffee table. Much safer for the kids and it gives us ample space to hide blankets and pillows...I am sure my five year old will find other things to put in this ottoman as well. Hopefully not his younger brother!!
