The story of the Kazak rug:

Kazak is an original Afghani design that was woven within that last three decades. These rugs are hand-knotted in the northern part of Afghanistan by the Uzbek and Turkoman women. These impeccable tribal pieces feature six predominate designs. The main colors are always various shades of terracotta and blue. The all-natural vegetable dyes are made from roots, flower petals, and tree bark, giving this rug a natural look and the impression of significance.

Thanks again O, for another nice purchase. I love this rug with all the colors. I can add any color pillow or throw or decor and the color is IN the pattern.
